Wendy's — Restaurant in Oak Grove

This place have racist people ever. Upon I walked in, the store was already closed and it was only taking people just for drive thru. As a truck driver, I couldn’t drive my truck to the window. I saw some white dude walking on the drive thru and they served him food. I decided to go there and so I could get food just like the other dude. Once I got there, they refused to serve me by claiming they don’t serve walking people for safety purposes. I wasn’t served just because of my color because if it was due to safety purpose, they white dude shouldn’t have been served as well. This happened on Friday 12-09-2022 night. When I asked them why they served the white dude, one girl told me that she had to take the blame and she can’t take it again. Imagine a truck drive driving the entire day or night delivering for Americans, but being denied for food. We shouldn’t be treated like this at all. Very very sad. I wish I was able to rate them...

I travel for business ALOT so fast food is definitely something I am used to. What I am not used to is good quality service. But, this quick stop for lunch was worth it. While in a short line, I noticed something one does not usually see in a fast food establishment - an employee that provided fun yet professional engagement with the customers. When it was my time to order, your cashier Brittany Eddy met me with a smile and a greeting that made my day. My order was not only right, but hot, fresh and I did not have to wait "forever" like other places I frequent. I will stop here on my next trip just to see the smile and see if this is normal. Worst decision was to pick here for late dinner! We ordered almost $30 of food and waited over 45 minutes for food. Meanwhile there were numerous other customers in the lobby waiting for food as well! There was a total of 6 workers that kept coming and going and they were completing drive through orders but clearing orders off the screen from one's inside. So disappointed in the service. They didn't drop a chicken in the fryer until 6 minutes before our order was ready after we finally lost patience about what was going on. Two of the cooks looked stoned out of their minds so I'm sure that caused some delay. I called the corporate number to complain the next day and was told someone from the store here would call me to discuss what happened and make it right. Never heard anything back!
