Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Oak Harbor

The pizza is delicious. However the service is terrible. My husband went to the location to pick up an order I placed online earlier today. When he arrived he asked for the order by name. They asked if it was a phone in or online order he said he he didn't know so possibly phone. They said they didn't have an order under that name. He then called me. I called the location and explained I put in an online order earlier in the day and my husband said he was told they didn't have it. They put me on hold. After holding over 5 minutes a manager came on the line (Josh). I explained the situation to him. He said "your husband said it was a phone order". He then proceeded to read me the riot act for a few more minutes for my husband not knowing it was an online order instead of a phone order. I think this is a difference without a distinction. Had they checked the online orders they would have found the exact name, time and pizza we ordered. Doesn't seem like a very difficult...

I normally have extremely quick service and the employees are very polite. Yesterday, 10/31/2024 I ordered two pizzas at 4:11pm and was told it would be 15-20 minutes(standard). I got there at 4:34 and sent a text to my husband saying how busy they are. The drive-thru was 5 cars deep and it took me approx. 10 minutes to get to the window. When I got to the window the two girls could not find my pizzas and after looking for approx. 5 minutes one of them asked me to go in through the line again. I got back to the window and they still didn't have my pizzas. After looking for it again they asked one of the girls making the pizzas and she went right to them. I drove off at 4:52, so it took me 18 minutes of my car idling. I found this unacceptable, especially since my two pizzas were there the whole time when I first arrived at the window. FORGET customer "service". That went the way of the dinosaur a LONG time ago AND these guys are merely one of MANY "guilty" parties. MY ISSUE has to do with the integrity of the PIZZA itself. Have enjoyed taking home one of their "thin" crust pizzas for YEARS and doctoring it up with all OUR fixings. Of LATE however it's become painfully obvious these guys have done AWAY with the legitimate "thin" crust dough in favor I guess of the SAME dough they use on all their OTHER pizza's, yet ANOTHER "cost saving" move (profit maximizing) on their part. Too bad as we're now SOL on a decent pizza AND these guys have one LESS customer to...
