Worst service I have EVER received in my life! I left there hours ago, and I am still fuming. I'm staying here temporarily just up the street. Just walking by the place seems really nice, and when I heard that profits go to a charity, I was eager to check it out since I am in need of something to wear Easter Sunday. I knew they closed at 5pm, but I also knew what I was looking for. I entered the store at 4:30 today, which is the earliest my schedule will allow due to work. The ladies in the back rolled their eyes as I walked through the door though I was the only customer in the place. No one greeted me or offered to help me find anything, but I found the dresses and what not on my own. As I was browsing, the 3 ladies never stopped their conversation which, by the way, was full of rather colorful profanity. I tried to be friendly and add to their conversation; however, they completed ignored I even said anything to them. Then, they brought in the outside racks, and sat them right in front of the rack I was currently picking through while there was plenty of room elsewhere. They never apologized and I felt as though they did it intentionally. I finally found something I wanted to try on and wondered around for a dressing room. I approached one lady who said "uh, we close at 5" I looked at my watch and I still had 10 minutes. I asked her where the dressing room was and she simply pointed. I walked over to the room and the lady next to it said " um you got 5 minutes" SERIOUSLY and you can imagine the look I was given. I can easily afford better clothes elsewhere, but I was driven to donate to the good cause, so I tried not to let it bother me. While in the dressing room I could hear the 2 ladies whispering, complaining about me. You know if any one of those 3 total employees would have bothered assisting me with what I was after I probably could have been in and out in 10 minutes. Rather, due to their extreme rudeness and lack of customer service, I left there at 4:57pm I will not be back and I don't encourage others to either. If you really want to donate to charity, cut a check, and do it yourself. Don't bother with these...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey had an " everything 50% off sale today" and they also had signs for the prices of items in the store. But suddenly as we were purchasing our items there came another woman who told the cashier that some of our items had special higher prices because they were name brand or in good condition...em you didn't have a sign anywhere that said " if we feel you're buying a nice thing then we are allowed to mark up the price." We came out of the store feeling slightly cheated and sad. One of the shirts my mom had bought had costed before the 50%, 24 dollars!! When there was a sign on that rack that said "all medium tops 6 dollars"....sadly we saw this after we had already driven 30 min away, otherwise we would have gone back and asked for that money back. So beware tourists, I think they are cheating us a little bit. We had the feeling that they were not being honest. Especially because they had signs pricing everything! Then why have signs with prices? I find name brand things 100% of the time at goodwill and get it for 4 dollars. So no I probably would never go back to this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreQuadruple what the prices used to be. I bought a crockpot 4 months ago on a half off day for 4 dollars. Just saw one today used for 40.........I am disappointed. People go to thrift stores because they can thrift, not experience inflation on stuff people donated for free. We have been here 15 years and never seen this outrageous increase in price. I want to shop at a thrift store for a good cause that benefits both where the money goes and where its...
