King O Falafel Orlando, Sand Lake — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

This location and the food was beyond tasteless!! We have been going to the Kissimmee location since 2010 and the quality of food has never been an issue and always walked away having the best flavor in mouth. But this OBT/sandlake location was our first and definitely the last visit there and most likely won't want to go to Kissimmee location after this experience. Lentil soup was good but the meal made us wanted to throw up. Pre cooked kabobs dried up chicken with no flavor and as if just heated from the fridge and served it, vegetables were boiled and lightly seasoned but not fried or sauted, tasted raw. Rice had blah flavor. Flafal Sandwich with eggplant was so saggy loaded with some throw up smell sauce and should have been on a pita bread but some bread that had after taste, again out of thr fridge and thawed in microwave for 20 seconds. All in all...we left 3/4 of the food uneaten and paid for something so horrible. The 2 guys working who could care less, just wanted to ring up our transaction, took our money without any guilt and I could not wait to get home to throw up, brush my teeth and get this flavor out. Never again...this location probably is very slow and the food product they are...

My favorite place to eat, for the last 13+ years. When I crave falafel, freshly made to order, like my mother's falafel, that I grew up eating, I go to King O Falafel. I'm happy that there's a newer location, closer to me now. Same quality, affordable prices and excellent service. Saif and Jihad treat me like family, every time, just like when I used to go to the first location. I love their vegetarian platter (which includes hummus/chickpea spread, eggplant spread, tabouleh, and much more...) and/or the combination meats platter, both with the lentil soup. Their fu'ul (fava beans) spread is amazing too, also made to order. I like their gyro meat too. There's a reason why I keep going back after more than a decade. Better quality than other much more expensive and pretentious restaurants. Don't forget to order mint tea, to drink with the meal and the knafe dessert, plus their traditional Arab coffee. It's really good. Tip them generously. They work very hard and they deserve it. Keep up the good work guys. See you next...

Ordered on Uber Eats today and have been sick ever since, having thrown up 4 times since, and cant stay off the toilet...sounds like FP to me.!! Contacted Uber, told I would not be able to receive a refund. So here are the FACTS. Ordered beef Jyro, was typical in appearance yet did not taste good and the meat was chewy. Falafels were rock hard, dry and tasteless. Fries were soggy, and ice cold and my dog who normally loves fries, would not even try one. (I didn't eat any). They forgot my bundle meal Soda, No response from UBER all day so I'm left with this. Top it all off this meal, which would have cost $10 at the local food truck, yet through The King O and with tip, over $40..this is unacceptable, not only quality of food, but the behavior of Uber, who, I was recently a victim of one of their shady drivers in may who held my phone hostage and blackmailed me for $100 to have it returned after being left in the car...no accountability, or integrity, and I'm sure I will be sick all...
