Today at 3:24pm I had called the location below about placing an order for 5 dozen assorted donuts and 6 jugs of coffee. 17521 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 The man who had answered the phone had told me I couldn’t place the order for the next day, was very rude, inconsiderate, and hung up on the call twice. Little did he know I had called yesterday morning to that same location for the same order and received said order this morning. The reason why? I have to cater to my boyfriends work at 7:30am this whole week and wanted to be organized and polite to the morning shift workers, so I had placed the order for 7:00-7:10am. Hoping that I could get to the event by 7:25am to set up. Calling ahead for larger orders in the food industry is the best way to approach getting your order made. From personally working in the food service industry i know how it is when it comes to preparation, time, and convenience. When i had initially been writing this review I had also gotten a call from the store manager at this location. He did not acknowledge that his employee was being rude or disrespectful. I am going to ask what more is this company going to do to make this interaction right? About a half mile down the road, when taking a sip of coffee, the lid popped off and spilled on my chest and my arm. I was forced to get medical attention (emergency room) to ensure my skin does not get infected and to ensure it heals appropriately. Moreover, not only was this very painful, I was diagnosed with second-degree burns on my left arm my coat worth $3000 been domage. i try to contacet the manager in the store but every time no body thier.
After all of this, I just keep asking why the coffee cup was filled all way to the limit?, why the coffee was served at a temperature which the average person can not actually drink?, why the lid was not fastened right? why this company does not take the appropriate precautions after many notorious industry lawsuits? Is Dunkin' Donuts really concerned about the safety of their customers? I have medical bills and potentially permanent scarring due to the excessive temperature of the coffee and the faulty means in which it was served. Read moreI want to start by saying I WAS a everyday customer here. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND NOBODY EVER GOES TO THIS DUNKIN DONUTS AGAIN. In all my years working in the service industry and restaurant industry I have never seen a manager who was as unprofessional, rude, and used profanity like the one at this restaurant. Everyone in my office has been going here everyday for the last 5 years and when THEIR employee did not swipe the credit card right, we were not aware. The employee said thank you and have a good day and we left the premises with our receipt showing we paid. We then recieved a harassing phone call an hour or more later saying we stole from him (were everyday customers) and when we were shocked by the way we were being harassed we asked to speak to a manager, only to find out that this unprofessional guy was their manager. This is completely unacceptable for this behavior. If I could give this a worse review then 1 star I would give this place negative 5 because on top of the bad service, they mess up your coffee on a regular basis.....
