IB's — Restaurant in Oakland

The food here is horrible I order two cheesesteaks and the bread was soggy and saturated in oil. I also ordered fries that looked old and saturated in oil the bag the fries came in was oily when I touched the fries my hands got oily. This is unsatisfactory and I told the staff there before I left IB’s, and I hadn’t even eat off of it. I asked the staff for my money back on the fries and he called the manager and he was told not to refund me because the fries come in oil. So I asked him to take everything back and return my money and again the staff called the manager and was told not to return my money. Bottoms line this place has horrible food and horrible customer service. Not to mention their were flies all over the place I should’ve been paying better attention before...

My husband and I went to pick up our order, we went there being our first time through a recommended. Food is 🔥 & did not disappoint! The chopped cheese is where it’s at! Hubby ordered the California burger. We will definitely be coming back again! Service was great too, my husband and I felt welcomed & the food was exceptionally delicious. Avoid the Fish-n-Chips!

For about $15.00 I got 3 pieces of funky fish that obviously were prepackaged frozen before they were fried. Did I mention that the fish had a funky taste (i.e. old fish) the manufacture tried to cover with seasoning and breading. Also, the fries had a burnt taste.

When you have a deep fat fryer excellent Fish and Chips are fast and extremely easy to make from scratch. I don't know why I.B.'s uses prepackaged low...
