Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Oakland

We ordered through GrubHub. Didn't get the pizza. I called GrubHub & explained that the pizza never arrived, apparently the driver called to let me know that he was downstairs/outside, but phone was on silent & didn't get to answer. Called Mtn Mike's directly to let them know that I didn't get the order, guy said there's nothing they could do because it was ordered through GrubHub. Called GrubHub....again, this time they said "we can redeliver or credit your account", I instructed to credit my account. This order was made on the 16th of March.......

Fast forward to today. I noticed a $41 charge in my bank, knew right away it was GrubHub. I called them at 7am regarding a charge, didn't get a call back until 5:42p. They said the following.....

"We apologize, but we contacted the store & the manager is refusing to refund because he said that they tried to redeliver the pizza. GrubHub can not refund because we are not the once that charges you".

BULLCRAP! they "tried to REDELIVER"....if they "tried to redeliver", I wouldn't be on here upset & giving a negative review!

So, basically....whoever runs this store is a crook. The delivery guy didn't even come knocking on the door and I had the door open all day. Instead, he stayed in the car to call me & when I didn't answer, he left & said he couldn't get in touch with me. I was home aaallll day! If I paid for delivery & included a tip, I DO EXPECT MY SHET HAND DELIVERED TO ME....NOT ME HAVING TO LOCATE YOUR DRIVER DOWNSTAIRS.

YOU POCKETED $41 FOR ITEMS I DIDN'T EVEN GET INSTEAD OF BEING AN HONEST BUSINESS OWNER & ISSUED A REFUND.

6:05....called Mtn Mike's again....here's their tactic....they ask what's wrong & when they feel overwhelmed and don't want to deal, they put you on hold for hellllla long!....for dayz! Until you just hang up & they...

I like the pizza at mountain Mike's but recently changed. #1 For example I bought & ordered a large mini pepperoni pizza and the pizza dough was still not cooked all the way through... But I was able to put it in my air fryer for a minute or two and it fixed it... #2 Too much sauce, not enough cheese! 😞 #3 The person who delivered my pizza 3.00 and 32 since extra because she found that easier for her to round it up to $40.00, flat! That really pissed me off because they already take 5 to $6 extra for delivery charge.... And I did not get my online special coupon that was given to me for downloading the app and buying pizza from them...

So technically they overcharged me $23.73 too much. And that's not including the $5 delivery charge, nor The extra $3.32 that the young lady charged me food delivery pizza. And when I asked her why was it an extra $3.32 was because she no speak English. Which was a bunch of bullshit because I'm fluent in Spanish just like she was and she couldn't even answer the question then....

And the worst thing of all was that at the end when I try to complain or speak to somebody about their mistake they act like they don't know what I was talking about.... Pizza was good after I put it in the air fryer for a few minutes but the service was a pile of stinky ass Bullshit.

I almost want an apology in my money back but that's just me cuz you know my feelings were hurt cuz I really love...

The lady answering the phone was extremely rude and condescending,telling me I needed to slow down when giving my phone number. My wife had called before me with the same issue telling her the phone number slow but apparently not slow enough so when I called I was ready to say the number slow,which I did, but also apparently not slow enough. 10-318. The rest of my call went just as bad but I was hungry and just wanted a pizza from one of my favorite places. The delivery driver called when he was close and I replied that I was home.He hung up before I finished my sentence.
