Top Dog — Restaurant in Oakland

The guy they have working there now is a total jerk. He screwed up and gave my food to the guy two behind me, who ordered the exact same thing (hot and a kiel,) so I said, I think you gave him my food, and he got agitated. Other than than a large order of skinny regular dogs on the grill when I got there, my order was next and the only fat dogs on the grill. I was definitely before the other guy. Several more people behind me were then given their food as well, like 4 or so. I politely asked him if he had a hot and a kiel on the grill, because I knew he gave my food to the wrong person. He got all upset and said "you did this last time," or something crazy like that. I haven't been in there in a year or so, much less ever seen this jerk. I said, hey, you have the wrong person, I haven't been in here in over a year, but he continued to say all kinds of crazy stuff about how I have an attitude and that some dogs take longer than others, yet he gave away my exact order to the someone that ordered after me. He got so agitated, I thought he wanted to fight. I have no idea why this guy reacted this way, considering he made a mistake, but he has no business dealing with the public. He is unbalanced and the owner should really look at him closely. I'm never going back in there and unless you want to be accosted for no reason, and have a lunatic get all angry at you, I suggest you...

This place is not for conservative people. Seems racist plus doesn’t even take cash payments, I’m guessing because the rude cashier they have doesn’t know how to count real money. He was strongly offended by my american flag bandanna on my neck. At one point at the I was talking to patrick star if you know what I mean. And all became I had an American flag. Also never changed his gloves in between customers and money handling from apparently favored customers. Only I couldn’t pay with cash but others he was okay with. I wish I knew his name to make it more direct bit is the rude guy with long hair at the cashier....

Food is good, their service needs improvement. My daughter walked up to the counter and told the guy working what she wanted, but the worker kept on watching t.v. She asked if he heard her, then a regular customer behind us started argueing with us. I asked the employee to help us so we can order our food. He didn't say anything or do anything. So we just had to leave. Very sad event that my daughter had to go through that day. We will never get anything there...
