Woody's Cafe — Restaurant in Oakland

I have been to this location 1 time and will not return. There are only 4 large capacity washing machines at this location, designed to wash bedding. There are compact washing machines designed for double load and single loads. There is no adequate wash basin to wash and dry your hands free of detergents and dirt, no access to papertowels not hand sanitizer, if you go bring your own sanitizer, papertowels, water and hand soap. Do not expect to be able to use the bathroom as it is permanently closed to all but the employees, possibly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The part of the building that houses the laundromat is not very big/ spacious which makes it difficult to practice safe social distancing, isles become cramped when busy and people using the machines are try to access their laundry. There are three entrance/ exits, however, the main access point is throught the parking lot, the front doors are locked, and their is single door that goes out to a very small back patio area with one small table. There isn't adequate air flow in the facility as the side entrance/ exit door is the source...

Fantastic Coffee, Delicious Sandwiches, and Friendly Service

I recently visited Woody's Cafe (again), and it was an absolute delight! The oat milk latte was rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed (exactly what I carved for). I also tried one of breakfast crossiant, and it was fresh, flavorful ham, cheese and egg (you know how experience eggs are now).

Beyond the great food and drinks, what really stood out was the friendly service. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made me feel right at home. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and it makes all the difference.

If you're looking for a cozy spot with excellent coffee, tasty food, and warm hospitality, I highly recommend Woody's cafe. I'll definitely be back, again....

Ive tried countless times to give this coffee shop a chance because I understand it's a mom-and-pop styled Cafe. Well I have now officially giving up on this Cafe as every time I place my order there's always some sort of issue. Weatherby being overcharged for my coffee on countless occasions or overcharged for the wrong sandwich or even given a sandwich with topping that I'm allergic to that I distinctly ask not to be in there. Just happened multiple times and the cost for the service here is a bit steep for the level of attention they're giving to each order. Not to mention a croissant and coffee took a half...
