I didn't take pictures of my burrito because I really didn't want it and wanted to leave but my vegan friend who wanted a burrito so bad was paying& was very hungry. Due to the fact that she is vegan she ordered what was rudely told to her as a "special" burrito ( She deconstructed their ingredients in a veggie burrito by just adding the certain ingrrdients she wanted) by requesting no cheese& certain veggies. That's when a second employee interjected and sternly said "we don't do that!!" He looked annoyed by her request. My friend said but I don't eat meat or cheese and that's why I want specific items on my burrito. On the nenu it does state " ask for vegan options". Howvever, he got a little louder and said But I'm trying to help you so whatever& he walked away. The young man taking her order in the meantime was rolling his eyes in his head. We were not allowed to take a paper menu, seat ourselves to decide what we wanted when we walked in. We were allowed to sit on benches at the entrance to decide, place order and pay before we were allowed to seat ourselves to eat. Read moreI got the NOPALES burrito and it was AMAZING! it had a spicy pumpkin seed based sauce and eggs and potatoes and delicious black refried beans and so much deliciousness. I thought it had chorizo but I was wrong and frankly, I didn't miss it at all. Would definitely order it again and recommend everyone try it at least once because it clearly has some very Mexican flavors that you don't usually get at burrito places.
Edit: I went back! It was in the afternoon so they didn't have the burrito anymore as it's only for breakfast. I'm hooked on the nopales so I got a tostada with them and also their "Lima soup" which is a super deliciously tangy limey chicken tortilla strip soup. The chicken in the soup was a little overcooked but the broth was so good I didn't mind, that broth is the broth of my dreams. The other thing could be fixed is that the chips were cold but OMG their guacamole was perfection! Highly recommend for their vegetarian/vegan options and for people who want to try some authentic...
