The General Manager at this location needs to be trained as to the appropriate way to address ALL people. Regardless of it being a customer or an applicant for employment. I hope it is not the official position of the company to belittle and degrade its customers the same way they do their applicants. Yesterday an interview was held for the Assitant Manager position with the General Manager. The meeting went great and at the end the dredded remark was made "We have to do a back ground check." Of which the applicant truthfully disclosed their record that was many years ago. At which point the GM gets up abruptly and collects the applicants paperwork off the desk and states "There is nothing else to discuss here" and throws the applicants papers away. I have never heard of a greater display of blaintant disrespect. Shame on the GM and shame on Arby's for making a person that has turned their life around feel like they were nothing. it is hard for be to believe that Arby's official position on a criminal record is so strict considering the Arby's location in Gainesville just a few miles away was recently managed by someone I know fact has sold more opiates in Hall County and ruined more people's lives than can be calculated. Not to mention the massive amount of felonies racked up by this person in those years of her and her husband selling opiates and methamphetamines. So please tell me my friend was made to feel this way at an interview when I know for a fact there has to be a relaxed approach to backgrounds of employees. Make this make sense....
Read moreI stopped in this afternoon to get lunch and as soon as I walked in the door the girl behind the register almost acted like she wished that she didn't have to wait on me. She had a horrible look on her face and never said hello or anything. I place my order and was waiting at the register when I was told rudely by an employee to get off the counter and to not be leaning all over it, which I was not. I simply had my hand on the counter and my wallet was laying there. I almost couldn't believe my ears when I heard her say this to me. A lot bad happened so I'll keep this short. The fries were old and cold I asked for more and the employee said "really" to me. I could not hardly believe it when she said that either. When I received my fries they toss them at me over the counter. I told them that I was going to report them and they acted like they could care less. Something has to be done at this location. I have had many people tell me how bad the employees and the service are here. I will not be back unless...
Read moreTook a drink of my tea and felt something in my mouth. I walked to the bathroom and spit it in the sink. It was a huge glob of black mold the size of a dime. I showed the cashier who looked surprised but never offered any apology neither did the person who came to retrieve the tea canister even though she stood right next to me. Lots more were in my cup and I showed that too and asked for a new cup. I wasn't feeling great that day and I really just wanted to eat lunch and get home. It never occurred to me that I should have asked for a refund and just not eaten there at all until my daughter said the tomato on her sandwich tasted "sour." Ugh. I posted my experience on facebook and a local friend said that he got food poisoning from that location a while back. His doctor actually told him it was most likely due to what he ate there. :/ Been going here for almost 20 years but after this I won't be eating Arby's at all for a good while and I'll never return to...
