Just a quick stop for a kids chocolate shake and sweet tea. The receipt said chocolate, but the cashier handed us vanilla and said " here's your chocolate shake".....I just looked at her. Are you kidding. I told her we ordered chocolate and this is white, like vanilla. She said she was sorry and to hold on. After a few minutes she came back to announce that they didn't have any chocolate syrup! Problem is you announced to me here's your chocolate shake and try to pass a white milkshake off as a chocolate shake. I'm astounded! She then told my granddaughter well I can give you a vanilla shake or I can give you a strawberry shake, pointing to the strawberry shake that was sitting on the counter that was already part way melted and God knows when it was made. My granddaughter took the vanilla shake and was not happy to say the least. I understand when people run out of things, but wouldn't it have been nice to know that when I ordered it at the microphone in the Drive-Thru, instead of waiting to hand me a white vanilla shake and then tried to tell me it's a chocolate shake. I wasn't born last night neither was my granddaughter. That's kind of sad. And to try to hand her a strawberry shake that clearly looked like it had been made 15 to 20 minutes before we got there, is not good customer service. I'm speechless at this point. And the lady wasn't some young teenager. She was probably in her mid to late...
Read moreI am not ever The person to review anyone one star, but I put an order in on the McDonald’s app. Then, upon showing up I see that the drive-through is closed has cones through both lanes you can’t drive through it. I circle the restaurant pull into a spot and make sure that I’m at the right location because it appears to be closed. Even though online it says open 24 hrs. I get out of my car and go up to the door which is locked so I knocked. After standing there about 15 to 20 minutes the night shift manager comes to take a smoke break and says yeah we’re closed, so I replied and why 1) does it show you are open 24 hours if you’re not, and 2) why was I allowed to put in an order on the app, and 3) how do I get my money back? He then decided he was going to smoke and walk over to the cones and tell me he didn’t know what my problem was and a bunch of other things I didn’t even pay attention to. He then said he would get right on that order just drive to the window once he was done smoking he would come in and get me handled. Finally, after 10 minutes he appeared at the window to say he would get on the order and ultimately I received a bag of food but nothing was what I ordered.. this is also by the way the second or third time I’ve been there pretty early in the morning and they’re not open, I just believe if you’re not open 24 hours don’t post yourself to be...
Read moreI had an issue with missing food from an order I made yesterday via the app. I didn't come back or call about the issue because I fell asleep. Since I was nearby the restaurant today, I decided to stop by to see if they could resolve my issue or at least tell me how to get a refund for the missing items.
I explained the situation to the cashier and showed her my receipt. She went to speak with who I assume was the manager on duty. I overheard the manager say in Spanish that this was a problem from yesterday, and it wouldn't be fixed today. The cashier returned to the register looking annoyed by the manager’s response. Again, I heard the manager telling someone else in Spanish that my issue was from yesterday and wouldn’t be addressed today.
Despite this, the kind cashier resolved my issue. I applaud her and am grateful for her help. The manager, on the other hand, should have at least come up to me, apologized for the missing items, and informed me that since it happened yesterday, there was nothing she could do today. She could have directed me to a phone number or website where I could seek a resolution. I understand that most McDonald's are franchises with their own rules for handling issues, but simply overhearing the manager dismissing my problem as a "yesterday issue" without offering any solution was...
