Arby's — Restaurant in Ocala

I just had to write a review for this Arby's and have been meaning to do so for a while. Because they are phenomenal.

The service is terrific. Always courteous. Always offering you a special sauce. Service with a smile. Food always freshly made and delicious. Care is taken with your food definitely.

I hadn't been to a different fast food place other than my usual Taco or Chicken take out in years.

A friend suggested we drive through Arby's. I'm so glad we went that day.

Their Roast Beef sandwiches are better than I ever remember them being and now I actually buy 3 or 4 extra and place them in a freezer bag right in their packaging, freeze them and when I'm hungry, need something fast, I defrost, unwrap place in a slightly wet paper towel, place in a bowl, microwave for around 25 seconds or so, you have to check, and the roast beef sandwich is as delicious as the day I bought it. So, that quick fix when I need a sandwich is terrific.

I love the new Turkey Sandwich. As well as their Brisket Sandwich with the fresh bread they use, they're just my favorites.

BE CAREFUL 🤮 got very sick from this place 2x in the past 3months. Very disappointed with this location. Yesterday I purchased a #1 with curly fries and a coke, my friend got a classic with added Swiss cheese. Meat was cold, buns were old and hard, fries tasted like cooked in old fish oil and were also cold. Ok bad service, I get it, times are tough with staffing issues. I can live with the fact that I over paid for their cold nasty food however both my friend and I got very sick yesterday and are still suffering 30 hours later!!! Definitely not holding their food at proper temperatures causing bacterial growth and illness. I’ve reported the illness to the health department. If I’m not alone with this issue please call our county health department as well so others don’t get sick. Sadly my friend is elderly and is not doing well fighting the nasty this place gave us, hoping he don’t need to go to the ER. The owners of this location needs to certify and educate their employees on safe practices of food handling, time/temp controls as well as holding dates. I will never go back and will be sure to tell as many of my own customers as possible to avoid it...

The best service and fries I've had an an Arby's! DO NOT EAT HERE. THEY DO NOT WASH THEIR LETTUCE. It is not safe to eat here. Great service and the fries were super fresh, but when you can get sick from eating the rest of the food, I can't recommend this place.

It is not safe to eat any sandwich with fresh ingredients, because they obviously do not wash their produce. The inside of my sandwich had more dirt, literally planting soil, than sauce. Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions grow in the ground. They're covered in dirt when you harvest them. That's why you wash your produce. The only possible way to have this much dirt in the lettuce is if no one ever even tried to wash their lettuce.
