Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Ocala

A five star review for a fast-food restaurant? You bet! Why? Because the people are incredibly pleasant, and efficient. From the employees all the way to the entire management team.

If you're not familiar with Chick-fil-A let let me tell you they have grilled chicken nuggets that are simply not from this terrestrial realm. Of course, they have the typical fried nuggets as well. It's refreshing however, to have healthy options when you're exhausted and just want something that is quick, easy and semi healthy. They offer a few other grilled options too. My inner child always comes out of hiding and the grilled nuggets always win. Be careful with the dipping sauces because those are loaded with calories. Just In case, you're watching that sort of thing but, I'm not. I mean have you seen me eat? I can go thru like 20 packs of dipping sauces on like like 10 nuggets, seriously.

Talking about healthier options, the breakfast menu offers fruit cups and Greek yogurt. I tried the fruit once and it was fresh, nothing spectacular but an easy breakfast to eat. I want to mention the delicious lemonade that they make in-house. It's delicious but loaded with sugar. Don't worry, they also make a low sugar version that is just as good. As if I care about that though. The more sugar the better.

What prompted me to review a fast food place-which I seldom do, is the fact that the employees are worth writing about. The people who work here are smart, kind and friendly.

So many times at so many of these places, your order is wrong-and employees don't seem to care. All of my experiences here have been positive.

Shout-outs to the store manager for having such a great staff and I know it's not an easy thing to pull off.

They have an app so ordering online should be easy and they do catering too. The hours are a bit different depending on the day of the week.

SUNDAY: CLOSED AS USUAL WITH THIS CHAIN

I like this Chick-fil-A. Customer Service has always been my dealbreaker period, but, this location nails it every time.

When in Ocala... you can fill in...

Debbie and tonight's manager AJ both need to rethink their careers. Curbside service is regularly running in the 20 to 40 minute range over 6 visits in the last month. Every single time you call they say they are "running it out now, takes forever because it's made fresh". This is lie number one, because half the food is always like tonight ice cold. Next, they will tell you they don't have any runners to send food out. However, the runners come out and say they were not told about any orders waiting to go out especially for over a half of an hour and they have runners. So that one way or another is lie number two. Clearly it's a mismanaged free for all inside. The app will tell you someone is on the way out with your food. 15 minutes later other vehicles have come, parked, put in their spot number, and got their order and my food is "still on its way out". So it would appear like maybe to meet some type of electronic goal they mark orders as ready and moving when they in fact aren't. All this boils down to again a mismanaged store. Maybe it's time to park the fancy new mobile food truck and focus on getting the main store under control first. If you are running 20 to 40 minute ticket times you got a serious problem in a fast-food restaurant. Maybe start with just not lying to your customer. Just say hey we are confused and mixing up orders and or got some problems. I honestly have no idea how corporate hasn't questioned this yet. I'll be running this by them with the dash cam videos of the order time, employee on their way notification time, vs when orders...

I had the pleasure of visiting the Chick-fil-a food cart (from the Mall CFA) that is placed at HCA Ocala(Old ORMC) due to their cafeteria being closed. The food tasted great. The chicken sandwich was still hot when received.

McKayla assisted me during my stop. This is the second time I have run into her at this location. Each time she has been very welcoming and greets everyone as they come up to the food cart. Her demeanor and customer service are what prompted me to complete this review. She is an asset to your team!

We are all accustomed to the "my pleasure" service that Chick-fil-a offers, but it is greatly appreciated in such an area where people may be experiencing the worst moments of their life by visiting a loved one in the hospital.
