After reading all the stellar reviews my boyfriend and I walked a mile to try out their breakfast - my favorite meal. I was torn between the Bacon Benedict and the Avocado toast, a decision made easier when the friendly lady behind the counter didn’t know what one of the ingredients was (Greek sauce?) and the rude man behind the counter simply told me they didn’t have it. There was one other person in the store when we arrived…and he was missing part of his order when it was handed over. We paid and went outside to wait, planning to eat at the store. THIRTY FIVE MINUTES LATER we received our meal…and it was gross. I spat out my bite of hashbrowns. Vinegar? Fryer oil? Not potato tasting, that’s for sure. The “Bacon Benedict” was overcooked bacon on the side of a FRIED (not poached) egg with something that looked like Hollandaise….and tasted nothing like it. Despite being hungry and walking all the way there I did not actually eat anything besides some toast. My boyfriend’s breakfast sandwich was small and uneventful, also with overcooked bacon.
Very disappointing visit. When finished, we returned the plates, one full of food. After asking if everything was okay and being told no, it was terrible, we were left with : “okay, thank you. Have a good day”.

Read moreI don’t usually go out of my way to write reviews but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in recent years. For starts, the cashier basically coerced my friend (who was ordering for both of us) to get the more expensive options because it was “more food”. We wanted the breakfast wrap but he told us if we got the omelette “wrap” it would be twice the size. My friend and I who were hungry agreed and spent the extra $7 for what we understood would be a large portion. We waited 45 minutes in a practically empty shop just to receive an excuse of a breakfast. Not only did we not get a breakfast wrap, we got scrambled eggs with some peppers and ham that was a 1/4 of the size that he had explained.
