After reading all the stellar reviews my boyfriend and I walked a mile to try out their breakfast - my favorite meal. I was torn between the Bacon Benedict and the Avocado toast, a decision made easier when the friendly lady behind the counter didn’t know what one of the ingredients was (Greek sauce?) and the rude man behind the counter simply told me they didn’t have it. There was one other person in the store when we arrived…and he was missing part of his order when it was handed over. We paid and went outside to wait, planning to eat at the store. THIRTY FIVE MINUTES LATER we received our meal…and it was gross. I spat out my bite of hashbrowns. Vinegar? Fryer oil? Not potato tasting, that’s for sure. The “Bacon Benedict” was overcooked bacon on the side of a FRIED (not poached) egg with something that looked like Hollandaise….and tasted nothing like it. Despite being hungry and walking all the way there I did not actually eat anything besides some toast. My boyfriend’s breakfast sandwich was small and uneventful, also with overcooked bacon.

Very disappointing visit. When finished, we returned the plates, one full of food. After asking if everything was okay and being told no, it was terrible, we were left with : “okay, thank you. Have a good day”.

(They charge for ketchup packets. For...

A Must-Try Culinary Gem in Chill N Chick

If you're anywhere near Ocean City, do yourself a favor and check out the newest restaurant sensation in town—Chill N Chick! Opened by the husband of the owner of the beloved Hop In Bakery, this place is quickly becoming a favorite for locals and visitors alike.

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the passion behind the food. The variety on the menu is impressive—something for everyone, no matter the time of day. Whether you're stopping in for a hearty breakfast, a flavorful lunch, or a satisfying dinner, every dish is crafted with care, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. And yes, the flavor lives up to the hype. This isn’t just good food—it’s amazing.

The best part? The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for a beach town where dining out can sometimes break the bank. It’s refreshing to find a spot that delivers both exceptional quality and great value.

This restaurant is more than just an extension of Hop In Bakery—it stands strong on its own, but you can absolutely feel the shared dedication to community, comfort, and excellence in every bite. It's clear this duo knows how to feed people right.

Bottom line: Go. Go hungry. Go often. You...

I don’t usually go out of my way to write reviews but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in recent years. For starts, the cashier basically coerced my friend (who was ordering for both of us) to get the more expensive options because it was “more food”. We wanted the breakfast wrap but he told us if we got the omelette “wrap” it would be twice the size. My friend and I who were hungry agreed and spent the extra $7 for what we understood would be a large portion. We waited 45 minutes in a practically empty shop just to receive an excuse of a breakfast. Not only did we not get a breakfast wrap, we got scrambled eggs with some peppers and ham that was a 1/4 of the size that he had explained. My friend had ordered a side of fries for himself but they decided to split up the soggy excuse of fries between the three of us who ordered omelette wraps (separate purchases) which took up more than half of the takeout dish that they served us. What was promised as a large breakfast came out the size of an appetizer. Left absolutely...

This was probably the most disappointing breakfast experience I’ve ever had. The photos of the food and the menu made it sound pretty good. However, the printed menu is very different from the display menu. I ordered the bacon benedict, which cost $14 and according to the display menu, had avocado. They gave me a plate with two pieces of bacon and two fried eggs, saying it was the bacon benedict. After I asked, they brought out one English muffin and hash browns. Needless to say, this is not a benedict. The eggs were not poached and there was no hollandaise sauce. It was not even assembled. The food was also pretty bland. Stay away.

GOOD FOOD, GOOD MOOD! That's right! Came here with my wife and kids and ordered a Philly Cheesesteak with fries, Burger with mushroom, bonesless wings and chocolate croissant. And i was very satisfied. The food was very good, the burger was very flavorful and the fries were freshly made and very tasty. IOANA and IANCA are our 2 new favorite people. Very friendly and very nice, accomodating people. The service was very good. We come to Ocean City every year, from NJ, and Chill N Chick is definitely 1 more reason to keep coming back here yearly. We're glad to have discovered it. Joshua & Family
