Hop In Bakery – A Taste of the Mediterranean in Ocean City!
If you haven’t discovered Hop In Bakery yet, now’s the time. This incredible spot has only been open for about two years, but it’s already become a standout favorite in Ocean City, and for good reason.
Hop In isn’t just a bakery (though the baked goods are truly to die for). It’s a full culinary experience, offering a delicious menu of Turkish and Middle Eastern-inspired meals alongside their famous pastries. Everything is made in-house, from scratch, with authentic flavors and the kind of care you can taste in every bite.
Whether you're stopping in for a warm, savory breakfast, a filling lunch plate, or something lighter and flavorful like a mezze platter, Hop In delivers quality and creativity at every turn. Their meals are just as impressive as the pastries—rich with spices, fresh ingredients, and the perfect balance of comfort and complexity.
And then there’s the bakery case. From perfectly flaky borek to sweet, fragrant baklava and everything in between, you’ll want to take one of everything home. (Trust us—you won’t regret it.)
Hop In Bakery is a true gem: warm, welcoming, and bursting with bold, beautiful flavors. It’s more than a bakery. It’s a destination.
Come for the pastries. Stay for the meals. Return...

Read moreWe stopped at the bakery today, the bakery was dirty and the cases were fairly empty. My daughter wanted a cane drink and they said they were out of them too. But we understood, there were so many people over the weekend we just assumed they were trying to get caught up from the busy weekend. We bought 6 pieces of baklava, which were all delicious.... 2 mini cakes which were so old and dry it was insane. The cakes tasted like they had to have been over a week long. The layered one with all the fruit was almost inedible and the strawberry on top was old and starting to rot. The piece of strawberry shortcake was moldy and sour. I had to spit it out after 1 bite. We spent $80 and couldn't eat most of it. For as expensive as that place was I...
