Talbot St.Cafe — Restaurant in Ocean City

I got a coffee here one day and didn't expect much. But it was sincerely one of the best coffees I have ever had.

I brought my wife there the next weekend so I could get another coffee (Organic Columbian), and she got a frozen mocha. The mocha was delicious, exceeding expectations, and my coffee was as good as I remembered.

The next weekend we stopped for our coffees, and we each got a breakfast croissant (bacon, egg and cheese and a sausage, egg and cheese) and the sandwiches were not only outstanding, but they were huge. They were made fresh to order and the quality was evident. They are the best sandwiches in Ocean City by far.

I now go to the Talbot Street Cafe regularly. It is owned and operated by a husband-and-wife team, along with his mother at the register. This is a local cafe, one location, and places like this are what make a community. This cafe is special. Not only do they provide great food, drinks, and service, but they are genuinely some of the nicest, most generous people you will encounter. They give back to the community, and they care about the town and the people.

Skip the chain coffee shops, and try someplace that is truly local, and unique to Ocean City. This is where the locals go. This is where people who know go. You can't go wrong with anything...

My family and I stopped at Talbot St Cafe to grab some breakfast sandwiches before leaving town this morning. Upon opening them we realized that the bacon was not put on them. Not a big deal at all. I stopped back and let them know and just asked if I could get the bacon and I could put it on. They told me to keep the 3 sandwiches and they would make me 3 new ones. I said that was very sweet, but unnecessary. They agreed to just give me the bacon. While waiting for it, the woman that took my order originally handed me a muffin for the mistake. Then the man came out with the bacon and handed me a bowl of fruit. I told him it was not necessary and that it was not a big deal at all. He said he appreciates my kindness and that not everyone would be so gracious. It is so refreshing to meet kind people and goes to show if you treat people with kindness, you will receive it in return. This situation was handled so well (which again, was not a big deal at all). I haven't seen customer service this good in years! You should 100 % give this place your business! The food was delicious and the people that work there...

10/10 best breakfast food in ocean city!! Im from New Jersey, and I really value a good breakfast sandwich, I was extremely impressed by the quality of the bagel, which made me feel at home. The atmosphere was incredible, with the family running this little cafe you definitely feel like family. My fiancé and I sat outside to enjoy our bagels and within a couple bites, the chef himself brought us out some waters, which is just so incredibly kind, to the point we’re we had to go back and order their white mocha frappe which was out of this world! The guy behind the counter (who I found out had been with them for four years!! Since he was 14!!) suggested adding a shot of espresso to it which was just perfect!!! The pricing was great, and within steps of the boardwalk you would expect a price gouge, but that was definitely not the case! Long story short, if you’re looking for the best takeout breakfast near the boardwalk, this is your place!!! Looking forward to visiting next...
