To start, the food here is extraordinary - the pork belly ramen is so delicious, the best part might be the egg (it was not soft boiled as promised, but I didn't care because the marinated flavor was so remarkable). I'm dreaming about those hard boiled eggs and wish I could just buy them in bulk. Warning: the pork belly itself is really just 4 slabs of pork fat that are inedible, I had to throw them away to avoid a heart attack. While the ramen is amazing, the order and pickup experience is very strange and terrible for the environment. There is a dining room, but no wait staff to take your order. To dine in, you place the order at the cash register and wait for your food, then take it to your table to eat. I was furious when they gave me my order - a bag with 2 non-recyclable plastic bowls and plastic utensils??? I was planning to dine-in on ramen, there is no reason for such huge amounts of waste. They provide no reusable dishes, and nothing is compostable! All just plastic waste that first leaches into your hot food and then pollutes the ocean after you throw it away. I'm now faced with an ethical dilemma - go back to get this delicious feast or go somewhere else that's more environmentally conscious to avoid the unnecessary single-use...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I have had with a ramen restaurant. You have to serve your self. Assemble your food. It is all take out even if you dine in. They mess up your order. The miso Ramen has little to no flavor depth. It tastes like it was more like a packaged broth. When ordering is the only services that you get and it is very rude and unprofessional and it is the only service you get at a restaurant. Even a tourist spot should have more friendly service. When asking about the Order being packaged to go. The person at the counter said it is easy this way. The make the customer do have the work. If I could give zero stars I would. The picture on the website are fake the eggs are not seasoned in the sauce like it shows the broth is totally different from what the website shows this is not worth you time if you are looking for good ramen. No depth of flavor. Save your self the time and go to the other place. If it is closed for the day go the Walmart and pick up some ramen it has more...
Read moreI have to agree with the previous reviews, this place is completely misleading and absolutely below mid. The atmosphere and surrounding pictures make you think you’re getting some authentic food. But the quality and service is equivalent to what you can expect from a Burger King or McDonalds. Our group tried the rolls, ramen, chicken teriyaki and bake chicken fired rice. The only redeeming item is the coke you get from the refrigerator. The ramen doesn’t include corn, scallions, dried seaweed or soft boiled eggs as the menu claims it does. Instead you get miso broth with some packet noodles and a hard boiled egg. The chicken teriyaki was rubbery and had no flavor, the highway roll is indeed canned tuna, and the tapioca in the Thai iced tea is mushy like it’s been soaking for too long. I would avoid this place completely at all costs and save your money for...
