It's whatever. 80% of the rides are for 4-8 years old. Very boring. The roller coaster is very mid and it genuinely hurts your head. You get whiplash and a horrid headache. It's not anything special. The magnum PI ride is okay . It's not the worst I've ever been on . The pirates cove is genuinely so stupid. It's fine for little ones but it might be scary for them. It's just a big maze with 3 floor interactions. It's meh. The mirror maze takes 5 seconds to figure out. The haunted house costs 8.50 to ride and it's hella overpriced but it's probably the best thing there. The ride beside the magnum is fun, good amount of air time and it's good to cool off. The park is definitely meant for ages 3-13. And I was promised a ferris wheel but that wasn't there. The 25 for 2 hours isn't a bad deal I guess. The UFO ride is your typical fair ride. This whole park is sorta just a glorified fair. Both of the music rides are the same. Ones just in a car shaped cart instead of a seat. The one that's inside of the park genuinely hurts so bad . My 10 year old sister who's 100 some pounds was absolutely crushing me into the side. There's a sharp metal price on the side and she wouldnt stop making it go deep into my skin and it hurts but it's cool I guess. Very bland. Jolly Roger definitely would be a better pick than trimpers . And if you want to go just for the haunted house you don't need a wristband for it nor a card . I haven't been to jolly Roger yet but I can assure you it's 100x better than this if your above the age of 13 even. Lines were very minimal but the vending machines were ridiculously priced. 5 dollars for a water that I could have bought from dollar tree. They don't search your bags there's no security at all . It's just a glorified fair. Absolutely nothing special about it. Staff were very kind tho. Give...
Read more2023 UPDATE We came back in 2022 and 2023. This year we got the annual photo again with the pirate but also went on the OC Big Wheel which is the huge Ferris Wheel. It was very fun with my 6 year old. The kids are getting too old for the smaller rides but hopefully the bigger rides appeal to them soon like this one. Thanks Trimper's for another great summer vacation.
2021 Update Trimpers no longer has paper tickets. They have converted to electronic cards. For $30 per card per child you can get unlimited rides for the day. We found this to be the best deal for our kids. All of the rides are in operation and it appeared as if there were a few additional rides added/replaced from years prior. The kids had so much fun however my now 8 year old can't ride the rides he loved so much in previous years as he is too big but now my 4 year old can ride those rides. We did experience some days during the week when Trimpers was closed but we were down there early in the season so I am sure it was due to having not enough staff but it was open on the weekend and Friday night.
My son loves it here. Some great old rides and some pretty interesting ones too. My 4 year old loves the indoor rides which are for younger kids but for 20 dollars you get a lot of trips on every ride inside. The whip is his new favorite ride here. We come back every year for the value and the experience. If your kids are a little older they have some more extreme rides outside such as a roller coaster, pirate ship spinner and old favorites like the Himalaya. You also get a great carnival feel with little food booths set up and prize winning games. The recommended age for these rides are 7 and under for inside and up to 16 years old for the outside rides unless you like rides then adults will also enjoy some...
Read moreGoing to these rides have been a long standing tradition for our family over the years. I have to say I am disappointed, the outside rides did not open until 3pm. My six year old waited patiently for 2 hours until the ride opened. The operator Dennis allowed my 6 year old to enter and sit in a seat. Approximately five minutes went by, the ride had not started. In 97 degree heat, I asked him what was the hold up, he said they needed more people on the ride. Understanding, I said well can you let my kid down off the seat to wait in the shade? He ignored my request, or maybe didn't hear me because the music was so loud at the neighbouring ride he couldn't hear me. So approximately 1 minutes later when my kid is starting to cry because he does not understand what is going on, I ask the operator again to get my kid, he raises his hand to my face and says, "You dont speak to me like that". His arrogant bad attitude was horrifying and when I entered the gate to pull my kid off myself, he continued to mouth off to me. When I asked for a supervisor he refused initially and tried to explain away his bad behavior. Eventually the supervisor came over, and approximately one minute later the guy filling in for Dennis closed the gate with 4 people, there were approximately 20 seats still open, while my son and four others had to wait outside the gate. Eventhough as we are all standing there the ride has not started moving nor have the safety devices been fastened. He said, "He need to wait next time". Really dude, Wow, so thoughtful. Sad I needed to explain to my son that even ride operators need to be prayed for hopefully in the future they will so the right thing for the kid and patrons next time. My family will be enjoying Jolly Rogers for the next decade before returning to...
