Used to be one of our go to places. My son loves their cheese burger. Our recent experience was completely different. The wheel is gone, the parking meters are gone, the little things that made this place neat are gone. The prices have gone up considerably and the service has gone down. The prices on the bill aren’t what’s advertised. If people don’t watch they are just taking money from people. When my dad’s food came out 15 mins after everyone else’s they just said we had to clean it and it just got here… just acknowledge the issue and apologize. “Hey we definitely dropped the ball. I discounted it or took it off, or let me get you a drink, something…” customers don’t want excuses… they want a decent experience when they spend $62 a meal. My wife and I arrived in Ocean City today just in time for lunch.
Upon walking into Hooper’s, the hostess directs us to go through the back door, down the stairs, and over the bay. At the end, we ended up here at Sneaky Pete’s.
This has a fun laid-back beach atmosphere, which is apropos.
For lunch, I ordered the Signature Sandwich, which is a crab cake on a pretzel roll ($28). I upgraded my chips for fries. My wife got the regular crab cake sandwich ($23). She upgraded her chips for the corn on the cob (additional $3).
