Went thru drive thru. Ordered a chicken sandwich combo. Asked for it to be cut in half. I was informed they could not do that. I asked why at the window and was told by Cashier Kashawn āminors work in the kitchenā. I had to ask several times what she said because I did not understand why that would be a reason. She seemed to get aggravated with my question. She handed my food to me, I said thank you and she did not acknowledge me and slammed the window in my face. I honked the horn and she did not want to open the window again. I asked for the manager and he came and asked what happened. I explained how rude she was and that she slammed the window shut on me. He was not worried at all. I then handed him the bag back and asked for a refund. I used my debit card and he could not figure out how to credit my card so he gave me cash back. The employees are always pleasant, smiling, and helpful. As a matter of fact, I always do my orders through the app and then I pick them up at the drive-thru window. On my last weekly visit, I made an error in the order on the app, so when I went through the drive-thru and told them that I was there to pick up my order, the employee asked me to stop at the first payment window.
I thought this was odd because I normally just go to the pickup window. When I arrived at the first payment window, she popped her head out and wanted to know if I had made an error in the app because one of the items I'd ordered had a different option with it. We had a bad experience a few years ago with our local Burger King and have driven to the Gautier, MS location ever since. We decided to give the Ocean Springs location another try with regrets. The parking lot and drive through were empty. Bad sign on a Friday night @ 9:40. We were shorted three cheeseburgers. Our fries were so undercooked we had to put them in the airfryer ourselves. And when we went back to get the food we had already paid for they refused. I don't look for this location to be open much longer. I will never step foot in a Burger King as long as I live.
