Let me preface this by saying it was a slow weekday around 10:15am. There were two waitresses and a waiter named Greyson who sincerely needed a headband or a hair net. Bangs that hang to your chin in food service are never a good thing. It took all three of them about 5 minutes to figure out which two tables (in an otherwise empty place) to push together. They either didn’t have or were missing parts of - most meals. This was a fact that was shared while ordering but also after it was brought to the table. It was a hassle to get attention, refills, even the check. I mentioned to the waitress that reviews were important for new places. Instead of apologizing for the mess that our morning was, Aubrey told me “there’s no reason to be mean. You’re hateful!”. An apology would have been a much better idea. The owner came out to give a snotty glare. Any chance for repair - gone. Customer service is dead here. Food was mid. Service was pathetic. There are so many better choices in Ocean Springs. Next time I visit I’ll make a better choice. Fat spoon? Fat chance. This is a CHAIN restaurant and it shows. This is no Blue Dog or Lady May. This is a poor substitute. Make a...
Read moreI walk in with my date and her family. We were told to sit anywhere. We get our drinks in, 2 sodas, 2 orange juices. The server comes back and asks for our order, 1 seafood omelet and 2 breakfast burgers all with a side of grits. He asked how we prefer our burgers and eggs cooked on them. One customer didn't realize you could order the burger differently (she's younger) her mother said it'll be well done for hers with an over medium egg and then I asked for mine to be medium burger with an over easy egg. Food came back and I sliced mine in half and it was a hockey puck. It's fine I'll eat the damn food because our server did not return until everyone was done eating. I did not want to be a Karen on a date, so I did not feel like it was necessary to address it. Maybe it's different y for their lunch service but breakfast was not an enjoyable experience. If I'm spending 16 dollars on a burger I would like my burger to come back how it was ordered. Took a lot of willpower to press the add 20% tip. $66 with 20% tip was short of 80 dollars. Save your money and get some "fast food" atleast you know you're getting what...
Read moreToday was the 1st & last time at your restaurant. About 1pm today, I took my young son to your restaurant for late lunch. He’s almost 11 & loves cheeseburgers of course. Upon arriving, I did notice a few empty tables; however, I had to take a napkin & wipe down my own table of wet spots. I ordered the Cobb salad with fried chicken but w/o dressing, blue cheese crumble, avocado & tomatoes. That is what was part of the list of ingredients on your menu for this salad. I’m not allergic nor am I a Karen. I simply don’t like those ingredients. My son ordered a plain cheeseburger with fries. Within due course, our food arrived but I noticed a heavy sprinkling of purple onions on my salad. There was absolutely no mention of onions in the list of ingredients on the menu for this salad. No, I’m not allergic to onions, but again, I don’t like that taste. The small cheeseburger was more like a slider on my son’s plate. He didn’t like the heavily seasoned French fries either. The young waitress was nice & yes, I did tip. First impressions count. Doubt we’ll be...
