Wendy's — Restaurant in Ocean Township

I promise you I never, and I mean never, give a bad review on it anything on the internet. I usually just don't have the time or am not generally annoyed enough to do so. Today however, at this particular Wendy's I had a ridiculous experience. I made my order at the pickup window including a Diet Coke. The woman that takes payment at the first window was very nice, however when I got to the second window and was given my food very abruptly I was handed a CAN of warm diet coke and a straw and the window was shut before I could even ask about it. I also hate being the annoying customer and they had a line waiting so I drove off. I'm guessing the soda machine had issues or maybe just the diet coke syrup itself, but when I made my order I could have been informed of this. I would have probably paid the extra for a COLD overpriced bottle of water if I had known. No, a warm can of soda isn't a travesty in itself but the lack of explanation, apology, or offer to make a different selection was the last straw that broke the camel's back for my patronage of this location. My fries were also soggy and had no taste or even salt on them. My burger was cold on the edges. Like other reviewers have mentioned there is ALWAYS a wait whether in store or drive thru, and food is often not fresh. On the plus side, my coworkers got laugh and a good story out of it when I returned back from my lunch break. They have lost the business of the employees of my company. Luckily there is a McDonalds closer to us that we used to pass to go to...

After having a bad day, my partner and I decided to stop here for dinner. As we approached the counter, some kid who seemed to be in a managerial position was having some words with the front cashier in front of us. (you'll see why this is funny in the long run). My partner ordered a double cheese classic, fries and a frosty. I then ordered chicken tenders and fries. He recieved his food first and went to sit down. So i waited and waited and waited and waited for an extremely unreasonable anount of time this is without exageration. Before I can ask when the tenders came out, the cashier got me fresh fries since the others got cold because of the waiting. Very considerate of her. So i get to our seat and my partner opens his burger wrapper and theres a single, and not a double he ordered. We both saw red at this point, said eff it and left considering how much of our time was already wasted. Maybe the manager should have been speaking to the back crew about things! Maybe even pulled them aside like a manager should and NOT in front of customers. Accidents happen, so i told the apologetic cashier "its ok, it happens," (with respect to the tenders and not being her fault in any way.) But when, after waiting so long we discovered another error with the burger, that was it!

Got in drive thru at 10:15, 5 cars there and 2 cars pulled to the side waiting. Waited until 10:50 for food!! Only ordered one breakfast sandwich and one meal! Would have much rather the manager say sorry if you do order it’s gonna be 20 minutes or stop taking orders until they catch up!!! I did not have a half hour to waste waiting, I had an appointment next door at 11. I don’t know what possibly could take half hour to make and to top it off at 10:40 they brought me the wrong food by a woman who spoke no English but continued to ask me questions in Spanish which I don’t speak Spanish. So then she walked away and ten minutes later a Different kid brought out the right food and drink. Still no breakfast potatoes just fries. But at that point it was a joke so we just took it and left. The food was COLD and the croissants were BURNT black Tia crumbly crisp on the insides. Waste of $15 and 40 minutes. Unacceptable. Plus the manager did nothing she’s the one that was taking orders and money. She had a lavender shirt on. She never gave me a receipt so I can have proof of my order. There was 4 staff menebers I could see bringing food out to people. There was a cleaning man sweeping in the rain the entire time I waited so maybe he could’ve come in and helped in some capacity!
