HAIR IN FOOD!!! POST #2 I did a review the other day but I guess it was deleted so here I am again. On October 18th 2023 I ordered the sub o tuna. I went home and unwrapped my sandwich only to find a long string of black hair in my sandwich. I was totally disgusted. I pulled on it to make sure I was actually seeing hair and yes, a long string of black hair in my sandwich. I immediately went back to return my sandwich. I was issued a refund for both sandwiches, no problem. However, as I scanned the kitchen to see how this could've happened I noticed that all the men in the kitchen had short hair and hats on but the young lady packaging the sandwiches had long hair with no hat or hair net. It was obvious to me that that's how the hair got in my food. It was shocking to see that the manager took no initiative to figure out how this happened. Instead he ignored and the young lady remained in the kitchen packing other people sandwiches with no hair net on. I don't think this was the first time but hopefully it will be the last. As good as there sandwiches are I will not be back. I can't help but think what if I had bitten into the sandwich. I would have thrown up. I bringing this to yall attention because I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. Hair nets should be mandatory even for the the cooks because hats don't always do the job. Please check your food before eating it. And if my post is gone tomorrow, I will be back to repost everyday until the issue is addressed. The fact that it was deleted in the first place instead of addressing the issue is sad...and means this is likely to happen again.

It could not have been mine since i had just unwrapped the sandwich, i always wear bandanas and i have short curly hair. Anyways, I was extremely digusted. I pulled on the piece of hair to make sure I was seeing correctly and yes, a long string of hair. I could not help but think, what if i had not seen it and bit into my sandwich.....i would have thrown up. I immediately went back to ask for a refund for both sandwiches and informed them that I found hair in my food. They issued me a refund no problem, however as I scanned the kitchen I noticed that all the men cooking had short hair and hats on. Aside from them their was a young lady packaging the sandwiches with long hair and no hat or hair net. It was a given that that's how the hair got in my food. Although the customer service was good, it was bothersome to see the manager take no initiative to investigate the situation and figure out how that could have happened. The young lady remained in the kitchen and continued to pack other people sandwiches with nothing covering her hair. More than likely this wasn't the first time but hopefully after this review it will be the last. There food is delicious but after this experience I will not be back. Hair must be mandatory for everyone and hats don't always do the job....

Let's put it this way. I'm 36 and the atmosphere made me feel like I was 23 again! As you walk in. You get hit in the face with a airy space feel. Hip joint. People chattering. The cashier greets you with a warm welcoming gesture. You CANNOT go wrong with anything you order. If you want to start it right and go for the gold. BAJA BEEF is where it's at. This puts every Jersey Mike to shame. You got TVs galore to watch and chill as you patiently wait for your delicious meal to be served. You got a fountain drink machine to the right and a bar to the left. You want a brew? They got it. You want a soda pop? Ya they got that too! For anyone who knows about the "special sauce". Just imagine Chik Fillets honey mustard but on steroids. Yes yes. Your mouth is already watering. So is mine. And I just came from there. Why are you reading this? Why are you even second guessing.
