Every time Iāve been here and gone through the drive thru Iāve had to pull over and go back inside because they either forgot something, gave me the wrong order or didnāt follow my substitution requests. (Ex: asked for sauce on the side and no cheese, they will give you both items either on the food or only one item on the side.)
Unfortunately this is the only Del Taco in my area otherwise Iād go to a different one. There hasnāt been a time Iāve come here and the order hasnāt been messed up or Iāve had to go inside to get it fixed. Not one time. When you go inside to get it fixed they act like itās your fault even if the receipt shows āsauce on the side or no cheese,ā they will give you attitude and try to blame you for it being made wrong. Even if you show them the receipt they wonāt take accountability and will be really rude and act like itās a huge inconvenience to them.
They also charge you extra for something like ranch or salsa even if comes with it. (Ex: say you order a chicken wrap. It comes with chicken, ranch, lettuce and cheese. If you ask for the ranch on the side, not extra ranch but just for it to be on the side instead of in inside the wrap. They will charge you extra money for it.)
The food tastes good, thatās why I keep coming back but the people who work there 90% of the time are extremely rude and could care less about customer service or making the order correctly. If it wasnāt for the food tasting good I wouldnāt definitely never...

I then got my food , drove home to see my tomatoes were soggy fries were hot cheese was in a clump on one side and a half teaspoon of sour cream. I then drove back to Del taco to get another order the manager says to me well it was fresh , the tomatoes arenāt old then just have seasoning on them , nothing is wrong with it . He began to argue about what I was saying and felt about my order than I waisted gas and came back for . I spent my money on. I then told him I didnāt like the taste , it looked old and tasted old can I please have another. He then proceeds to argue more and says I mean the tomatoes are fresh .i said then take the tomatoes OFF! I paid for this food I didnāt like it and it wasnāt fresh to me please give me a new one .i then walked away he said ok and still talked about the tomatoes. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Then I go to pull up to the window and the car in front of me at the window is delivering them Panda Express. Must have been a good delivery service. They get their food and now I pull up to the window. There is a female employee washing out her personal thermos in the food area. The guy at the drive thru takes my card and gives me the receipt. I keep watching the female employee that was rinsing out her thermos. She then goes and handles the food without washing her hands. Then the guy at the window says he forgot to charge me for one of the items. I said just refund my order which he did. I left so disappointed.
