We all know that any In-N-Out is going to be good, that's a given but for some reason I always like this one a little bit more than the others! ton's of parking and a perfect spot to fuel up before or after a day at the beach!
This particular In-N-Out feels more like an old school drive up and eat in your car kind of diner to me for some reason so I like to go through the drive thru then back into a spot and people watch both people coming in and also people walking up and down Coast Hwy.
Because this is so close to the beach you will from time to time run into a homeless person in this location however they have always been very friendly and this gives you a perfect opportunity to help someone out in need if you are so inclined by buying one of these people lunch. I have never once had one ask me for money or anything else but it is always such a blessing to buy lunch for someone in need and see their face light up with a renewed faith that there is still good in the world even if their current circumstances do not make it seem that way.
So if you are reading this review and happen to pop by this location I challenge you to pay forward some good deed that someone once did for you in the past and buy someone you do not know that looks like they could use a helping hand lunch. For the few extra bucks you will make someones week and the smile you get in return will definitely make your day.
We have all been in a time of need in our lives at one point or another, so this is a great spot to give a little back to society as well as one of the best In-In-Out Burger locations to get a great lunch or dinner!
The staff are often off duty Marines working a side hustle for a little extra money and these fine men and women provide some of the most impeccable service you will ever receive and any place you could ever stop for lunch in Oceanside! Given that, expect excellent service and please show a little gratitude in return to these fin men and women that are not only serving you a burger but also serving our country by putting themselves in the line of fire to protect you and the United States of America!
God Bless the USMC at...
Read moreFood and service always great. The atmosphere was a bit strange. Maybe because it was 1am but something seemed odd. There was a group of teens eating when all of a sudden one of them gets up and begins to shout and pick a fight with no one in particular. I’m sitting on the other side of the restaurant when I hear the commotion so I turn to see what’s going on expecting to see people trying to stop it or something but everyone in restaurant just sat there eating their food as they ignored what was happening. (It was almost closing time 1:30am and it was packed inside and not to mention the drive through was as long as usual)Not even staff went to see what was going on. I was confused. After a couple of minutes of shouting and screaming the young walked out to his car, came back in and continued eating as if nothing had happened. The second time I stopped by at the same location it was 12:15am and it seemed closed. No one was in the drive through which was strange. Inside was two dudes eating. So cautiously I walked inside asking if they were still open. They said yes. So I ordered my food and went to use restroom. It looked like two of the 3 stalls were occupied, I could hear movement but as I exited I glanced over and the stalls were empty. So I ran out. My food took forever to be ready and that was strange since I had been the only person that had placed an order. As I picked up my food and got it to go the place looked like it was closed. There was only two employees and everything seemed turned off. The place felt weird and had a weird vibe. I think I need to stop going...
Read moreAlthough most of the staff were friendly, the service at this location was inconsistent. I ordered a triple meat with only ketchup—something I’ve done at other In-N-Outs many times. Everywhere else, that’s understood as a bun, three patties, and ketchup. I never mentioned cheese and even emphasized “triple meat, ketchup only.”
When I got to the window, my burger had three slices of cheese melted into it. I let the employee know, and she insisted it “comes with cheese,” which is simply not true based on my regular experience. Instead of offering a solution, she implied the mistake was mine, rolled her eyes, and spent more time digging into the issue than resolving it.
To add to the frustration, the employee who took my order gave me a total, and I had the exact change ready. But at the window, the cashier quoted a different (lower) amount. I checked my receipt and confirmed I had it right the first time—he had made an error and never corrected it.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I’ll likely avoid this location unless I absolutely have no...
