Motel 9 — Hotel in Oceanside

i got charge 4 120 dollars almost but i never got a room there i was at a different motel there that day up the street in vista. i looked at a room with a jacuzzi cuz one was not there and there weird korean man at the door said i had 2 pay full price for a room 4 seven hours i came at 4 in the morning cuz i have medical prollems neurological and i end up there. thats ok but wen i wanted the jacuzzi they said it was only in a certain room, so i figured i buy it cuz he said at 11 am i had to leave no matter war i tried to arrange to stay till 11pm so it is a fair price since i came late. he made it seem like he said it was ok then offered me refund, and they talked to me about if i wanted to view pornographic material with them both the korean man and the man the next day who offered me thje 'jacuzzi suite' asked if i wanted to view movies of exlicitness. i was merely offended but i said please just cancel the room because i don't care if the guy is weird and wants to watch movies but the jacuzzi in the room diddnt work thats why i said forget it i had back prolloems mainly got room for Jacuzzi. i was camping with family and my neuro problems got bad and i wasn't allowed to walk any where on the naval air force base or what ever its called where we were camping. and the food sucked in my grams fridge. needed Denny's. and a room with jacuzzi and privacy so my neuro thing could heal. other wise i would be in hot tent cuz up all nite. so neuro thing better now cu i got nice from at quality in on the dy i looked at the room with the jacuzzi. i was in there 30 minutes and i tried to use the jacuzzii it doesn't work mann say he refund me. the korean man already over cahrche mete say 69 is normal rate i got charge 78 and i was only there 7 hours but oh well i will worry later so i pay and then the next day when the man say he refund me he charge me a 120 dollars al most i see it on my card he make me think i was signing a refund slip and i was tired and weary so i didn't no war to say and i was scared cuz he asked me about porno films and viewing it with other parties and i was offended cuz i don't watch stuff like that and i was treated like an object not a man i walk with a cane and I'm 23 years old cuz of neuro health problems but thats ok I'm fine. much better now but the jacuzzi did not work so i accept a refund even tho i sexually offended . i don't care if a few bucks spent as long as I'm ok but I'm not paying the extra 120 for viewing that discusting room and 78 is not fair either cuz i was only there for 7 hours i came at 4 AM and most ppl get at least like 20 hours in their room or some thing i think u do the math its much more than i got and i was treated rude very tired and thats ok but i pay over price then he charge me 120 extra next day i have proof i was at a diff motel and proof he said it the rat was 69 a night . i thought maybe tax so thats ok i pay that but not 119 for spending 30 minutes in the room with the jacuzzi lay down rest 5 minutes and try 2 relax in jacuzzi but it no work it no only a bath tub i no pay for bath tub i pay 4 jacuzzi and this cause unrest and distress becuz i have 2 walk 5 more miles or i don't no how far to a quality hotel with pair price and the guy asked if i wanted to watch...

If I could give no stars I would. My best friend and I decided to have a girls weekend at the beach. We made a reservation at a different hotel that got lost and were told to come back later and they MIGHT have a room for us. Uh no! So off we went searching for another hotel and we decided to stay here. BIG MISTAKE!

After being quoted a price over the phone the man at the front desk gave us an in person quote $50 higher. We went ahead and took it. Stupid move! We went to the room, changed, and went to the beach. Upon returning our room was flooded because the toilet was busted. They moved us to another room and someone had left some Chinese food in the microwave. Lord knows how long it was there for as there were maggots crawling in it. So gross! Obviously they have horrible housekeeping staff. We refused to stay in that room. They moved us to a bigger room for the same price that had a kitchenette. The freezer had melted popsicle juice stuck to the bottom of it, the refrigerator was dirty, the microwave looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, the shower caulking was moldy, and the room had a foul smell. There were people yelling outside and I got hit on by some creepy dude while I was out smoking. The sofa was ripped, one of the TV remotes didn't work, there was God knows what under the bed in the front room, and one comforter had some weird crusty white stuff dried on it. I only have one guess as to what it was. Yuck!

When we checked out I complained to the man at the desk who barely spoke a lick of English and asked for a partial refund due to all of the inconvenience and was told "No Refunds".

This was the NASTIEST place I have ever stayed and I felt like I needed to sterilize myself when I got home. I will NEVER stay here again. You couldn't pay me to. I now willing spend more money to stay at the Springhill Suites closer...

Affordable. Limited on site parking, but didn’t cause an issue. Staff was nice. It is within walking distance of restaurants, gas stations, and the beach. Some of the rooms look like they have been renovated. Ours wasn’t the greatest, but we were barely there. We were literally only in the room to sleep because most of the time we were sightseeing.||It was humid in there because they did not have the air going when we first came in. It did smell like paint or Lysol. There was mold in the air conditioner, but just on the little vent parts nothing inside probably due to the condensation from humidity. The bathroom was a decent size. They had a sturdy table and desk in a nice size TV.||It did come with a microwave and a decent size refrigerator with a tiny freezer inside. The refrigerator got super cold that it actually froze our fruits and water. The beds were actually comfortable. I have a bad back and usually I’m very picky with the type of beds that I can sleep in. But, these actually allowed me to sleep. As well as my friend who is picky about beds to begin with she actually slept well in the bed as well.||This hotel is great on a budget. Especially if you do not plan on being in the rooms too long because you just need a place to sleep. Since it is in a good location, I would recommend it being...
