Oceanside Public Library — Attraction in Oceanside

This is absolutely one of my favorite libraries. They are super big. Two stories! They have lots of computers for surfing the web. They rent out DVD's here! The staff at this place are so friendly and helpful it's refreshing. I've actually been visiting this library location for over a decade and have seen the growth both in it's visitors as well as the employees. And I'll tell you truthfully I would recommend a visit to both single persons and families alike, even those with small children. It's a wonderful place with the most amazing vibe and atmosphere. They have a parking garage and 24 hour security too which is another huge plus. Happy...

This is my favorite library! I use to come as kid with my dad and now I bring my kids. We visit about once a week. We only go to first floor because thats the kids section. Always greeted when we walk in. If my kids ever need help finding a book the children's staff is always willing to help. They are all very friendly with us. If you dont have a Library card but your child attends vista or oceanside school district they can check books out with student number. Library has great programs to engage kids with reading. My kids participated in summer reading program and the cover to cover reading program. This library has truly impacted my kids...

Don’t volunteer here at all, I asked to talk to the volunteer director and the first thing the lady at the front of the help desk (who isn’t in charge of volunteering) asked if this was for a court order, this felt very discriminatory especially if she wasn’t the one in charge of the volunteer vetting process.

They often allow homeless who are chaotic in nature in this library who manage to make the entire library smell bad from the first and top floor
