I went for dinner with my significant other and right off the bat the host did not have any customer service manners. She told us to follow her and simply point us to a table and threw us the 2 paper menus. This was our first time there and we didn’t know exactly how the process went so we had to ask the lady to come back and explain. She took my boyfriends menu and asked what we wanted, this took us back because we weren’t ready to order, we simply wanted to ask why there were boxes on the menu as if to check off. She stated that they were for her. We ordered and waited for a while. After a while another lady, whom I assumed was our server, brought us our drinks and she as well did not have any manners. She gave us our drinks practically shoving them towards us to the point where my drink got spilled on the table. Both my boyfriend and I looked her at her to see what her problem was and she simply walked away. The food itself was not bad, I will say that. It was pretty good for the price they were at. While my boyfriend and I were eating I could see both of the ladies across from talking to each other and only staring at us. It felt very uncomfortable because it was very obvious and we weren’t the only people there. So there was no excuse as to why it was only us they were staring at. We finished up our dinner quickly and left the restaurant, when our hostess, an older woman with glasses, followed us outside yelling at us asking, “No tip?!, No tip?!” And both my boyfriend and I were taken aback. The lady still expected us to tip her after such a terrible experience. I told her no to answer her. She scoffed at us and gave us a rude face, as if she was mad at us for not tipping. I can safely say both my boyfriend and I will never be returning...
Read moreAlways up for trying out new restaurants. Went to this spot, none greeted customer at the door. people in front of me and my family kinda wondered area look for place to sit before lady approached us. Young lady that mainly took care of us (Took our orders, drinks, etc) was very friendly and caring. I got tuna and spicy tuna bowl with curry chicken ramen. They have a menu with "combo's on it. Dont be fooled though, they will charge you for each dish as an individual item. Tuni bowl was actually pretty good. Ramen was ok. ot bad or anything, just average. My wife order miso ramen and poke bowl. Her ramen not only had odd smell but also had unidentified meat in there which they later told us it was pork. Asked for a new bowl, gave them "full" bowl of ramen back almost immediately and told them why. She changed it out for vegetable bowl which she actually enjoyed. asked for check and take home containers for ramen when I was done. I watched the lady drop my take home containers lids on floor and slide. Me and her locked eyes as I watched her pick them up and continue onto my table. I asked for new lids. She asked why as if she was confused. I told her because I watched her drop them. She then proceeded to argue with me for next minute that the kids were ok be8only 1 side hit the floor...didnt realize, a kid was so costly. Told her she could just keep it, I didnt want my ramen anymore. She literally put that lid back with the others. Definitely would never go back...
Read moreFor how slow the place was, our service was bad. We had to stand up to get someone to come to our table. They acted surprised when she came over as well. They left the happy hour menu on our table. I hadn't looked at the time, so I was under the assumption it was still happy hour. Nope. Appetizer: The chicken on a skewer was pitiful in size and quality. Rubber chicken extreme. After the first bite I was done (not in a good way). I'll append a picture for perspective. Very, very small comparatively speaking (compare to Honda-Ya in Tustin). Does this place double as a karaoke bar for drunk people? I could be fooled because the guy across from us was loud and obnoxious and they kept dumping sake and beer into him. Luckily for us (NOT) he knew every song that came on. Jesus Christ that dude was annoying as hell. Speaking of the music. Now I don't care if music swears, most of the music I listen to does, however, the hip hop they were playing was dropping f bombs every other song. Not a place to bring kids. My wife can't do Seaweed, she asked the waitress a question to which she clearly didn't understand. My wife usually doesn't do sushi unless they have soy paper. Nope. Only way I can get her to eat sushi with me lol. I ate double tonight.
Now, I understand this response may seem super pretentious, however, look at my other feedbacks I've given. I take care of the restaurants that take care of me.
This will be a first and last for...
