Frazier Farms has a great selection of good food! They have some really fresh produce. Today I loaded up on Satsuma Tangerines, which still have twigs from the tree on them, but they're exceedingly sweet. If you need to stock up on produce, this is the place to come to.
They have a full service deli, which can not only slice your cold cuts, but also build you a nice sandwich, or dish you up some of their tasty soup.
Fresh meat here, in whichever form you choose, is always well stocked. The behind the counter New York Steaks looked so pretty, we had to buy a couple today. They also have a nice selection of fresh seafood filets, and even several kinds of clams, which are so good steamed in a butter and white wine sauce.
They have a crazy good selection of cheeses here, some imported. You'll have no problem finding something unique & delicious for your cheese/deli tray, if you're entertaining. They also sell packaged Italian olives in a refrigerated case, which are yummy.
They have a killer selection of craft beers in their cold case. I found some Mammoth Brewery Golden Trout Pilsner here, one of my favorites from the High Sierras, plus just about any other beer you crave, even local beers, like Belching Beaver's Phantom Bride IPA. Also look on the front of a meat case aisle, where they have a rack of unrefrigerated 16 oz. 4 packs from some worthy craft breweries.
Frazier Farms also has a nice selection of wines in all the types. There's a red we like here called Happy Ending, a smooth, drinkable California Red Blend. What could be bad about this wine? Smirk.
If you have a sweet tooth, Frazier Farms has racks of cookies and sweet treats right inside the front entrance. They are baked right here, and packaged in plastic containers
They also have a ridiculous assortment of pre-packed nuts, pretty much whichever kind you're looking for, in convenient containers.
They have over 2 aisles of frozen foods, too, as well as eggs and dairy items that you'd find in any large supermarket. Pretty much if you want it, Frazier Farms has got it, and then some. We first started coming here because of their fresh produce. Hard liquor is the only thing I haven't found...
Read moreLots of quality produce, with very helpful employees in this section.Busy store, but enough employees to get you moving along at a quick pace at checkout.Courteous & friendly staff who we're all ready to answer questions & point you in the right direction,I appreciated the help.Clean & organized with lots of choices.Bakery,Deli, and Fresh Fish counter, never had to wait even though it was busy.Purchased the fresh Dover Sole & was very satisfied ,@$10.99 lb.it was enough for two nights meals, for two.It was light & moist, will happily purchase it again,& looking forward to trying other fresh fish, the most appealing thing was most the Seafood was local or from the U.S.A,just the reason I came into the store! Especially after finding out the process & handling of Seafood from other countries,I'll never eat the mass produced fish coming out of places overseas, too many antibiotics being used in over crowded fish farms ,ask your fish monger where the fish they sell originates from,it matters! You can see it for yourself on u-tube,this includes the shrimp business too.Buy local or wild caught only.I was also looking for local honey, which they had lots to choose from & I was happy w/my grapefruit seasonal honey,a little more expensive but I noticed you didn't need to use as much ,better always seems to go further, rather then using a tablespoon I was able to get a great taste with just a teaspoon,I liked the fact that the place of origin was also printed on the label & the honey's were pure not mixed w/honeys from other countries, there may have been only one of mixed origin.Overall I was more then satisfied w/my shopping experience.I will be returning regularly for these items & looking forward to discovering more fresh farm...
Read moreI am updating my review to one star because of the constant and continual panhandling in the parking lot at Frazier Farms. It's now clear that the owners are not doing anything about the problem. Almost every time I have shopped at Frazier Farms, I am accosted by a panhandler on a skateboard
Last month on 2/15 I talked to one of the owners and they assured me that they would take action but nothing has been done despite it being private property. Last night on 3/20 I was accosted again, for the over the fiftieth time by the same panhandlers.
I went to the supervisor and asked when shoppers will be left alone to do their shopping in peace. I said that I am going to do my shopping at Cream of the Crop and their reply was excellent.
Their response was that panhandlers have the right to approach shoppers and ask for money and that the owners don't care to engage with the customers.
This was the last proverbial straw. I am so done with Frazier Farms. Frazier Farms does NOT care about customers and loyalty means nothing to these slum store owners. My purchases ranged between $30-90 dollars, and good luck with your valued panhandlers spending as much.
Safety in the parking lot at Frazier Farms is non-existent and customers will have to shop at your own peril at night. I would rather spend more at Cream of the Crop or drive a couple more miles to...
