KYODAI 23 SUSHI — Restaurant in Oceanside

Good sushi but the service is bad and disorganized. Each time we're in it is a weekday and it is not very busy, but the servers always forget something or are inattentive. They also did something that really irked me. We took my mom out to lunch and I had 25 bucks that I wanted to use towards the bill which they proceeded to just take for the tip and then had the audacity to bring back the check to fill in the tip???? Oh also we ordered mochi ice cream which they FORGOT and we had to remind the server twice we had ordered it, then when they brought it, it was already almost completely melted. To top it off they brought us a separate bill for it when they already charged us on the initial bill. For this reason I will never be back. Get...

Well where do I start...This place has become my home away from home. My daughter's and I make it a point to visit at least once a week. WHY?? The food is absolutely out of this world. So fresh and if you get William the sushi chef he has created specials for us that will send your taste buds into overtime. When you go in say hi to Jun the owner nice guy full of fun. The servers are great shout out to MoMo. I have been to 90% of the sushi bars in the area. Give Kyodai 23 a chance and go in to have some fun you'll want to come back...Gotta go I feel a sushi...

Last minute stop for a snack - ordered just a salmon hand roll and cut roll to share with my daughter. They gave it to us to go, so we left and ate it and it was so good - we have to go back for more!

My young daughter noted that even the wasabi tastes good!

Service is friendly and prompt.

Quiet atmosphere (when we were there at 2pm on a Tuesday), clean and loved all the drawings by kids - some of them are very artistic! We will never be able to drive by without getting our rolls!
