On November 11th ( Veterans Day ), I went to this establishment to take part in Denny's generous offer to honor veterans as myself, who served our awesome country for the freedom that we have, thanks to our military and of course, through our awesome God who stands with us all. Like I was saying, I went to this well-known establishment and informed the hostess or waitress that I did not know which she was, that I would like to partake in the breakfast that they were offering to the veterans. She informed me that it was only for dine in, which I answered that would be fine. Her response to me was that all they had was scrambled eggs. Not being ungrateful, with so many hungry people out there, God bless them,I said ok thank you," stated a good day, and left. Please note that the time was approximately 6:15 in the morning, and I did see customers sitting in the booths, and I was wondering if they were eating just scrambled eggs. For a well-known establishment as Dennys, at that time of day, and as a well-known establishment, I found it very hard to believe that they had nothing else in that restaurant. That is Luke going to Home Depot, and them telling you, sorry, we only have nails. That does not happen to a well-known known company. If you did not want to honor the veterans' breakfast, that is understandable. However, do not lie to veterans or to anybody for that matter cause it is a sin, not to mention disrespectful. A reasonable statement could have been, sorry, but we are not participating in that deal. I think this was sad and disrespectful to the veterans and to mankind. May God continue to bless America and help these kinds of people and situations. This speaks in volume about a restaurant that has been around a long time and how they treat customers who, if it was not for them, this establishment would not be around. God...
Read moreOh my goodness gracious I do not know what happened to this location! I had to go help out my boyfriend who broke down on the way taking him home I suggested we stop here to have a meal. I've been to this location several times never ever had a problem until now. My food was horrible our server took my plate put it up in the window told the cook to remake it he took the plate from her and slammed it on the floor shattering it! At this point I told her I don't want anything coming out of that kitchen! Our server asked me in these words, "would you like to speak to the manager because I don't know what the problem is." LOL she did not know what the problem was even though my bacon was burnt to the point of it being black my French toast was ice cold the crust around the French toast was as hard as a brick, I asked for scrambled shell eggs I got eggs that were cooked hard and then cut up. But she didn't know what the problem was! Well the manager came to our table wonderful gentleman very nice and courteous not to mention understanding. He wanted to comp our entire meal and I told him that's not what I'm looking for personally you can take my meal off because I don't want anything coming out of that kitchen my boyfriend said his meal is fine he's hungry he's going to eat it. Then I had to use the restroom before we left and oh my goodness that was the dirtiest restroom I've ever seen. I don't think a truck stops restroom was that dirty! So not only was the food bad, our service was horrible the restrooms were filthy! But they have wonderful wonderful coffee! The manager deserves a better store than what he has or he needs to get off the ball and stop being so nice and get his store into shape! I would not recommend this location at 2:00 a.m.! Avoid avoid avoid avoid!...
Read moreOn Father's Day, I had what can only be described as the worst dining experience of my life at Denny's. If I had been thinking, I would have recorded the entire debacle to capture just how appalling it was.
The moment I walked in, the atmosphere was tense. The hostess, who was supposed to be welcoming and efficient, was instead rude and disrespectful. I witnessed her yelling and rolling her neck at an elderly customer. It took everything in me not to say anything, but I try to mind my own business. This behavior, however, was so egregious that it deeply bothered me.
The hostess's lack of professionalism didn't stop there. She pointed at customers, engaged in self-talk, and even called for "one of the called managers" to come help her. It was clear she was overwhelmed, but her approach to handling the situation was completely unacceptable.
Despite the chaos, I tried to remain patient. I was there to pick up a $75 order that I had already paid for, yet the hostess never acknowledged my presence. I stood there for what felt like an eternity before finally asking a passing employee for assistance. This complete disregard for customers was the final straw for me.
The rude and unprofessional behavior of the hostess, combined with the complete lack of acknowledgment, ensured that I will never return. It was an experience that left a bitter taste in my mouth, quite literally and...
