I would give this restaurant a MINUS 5 stars if I could! OMG!! In the many, many years I've dine out I have never,ever,ever, had a worse experience than this one!! It all started with having to wait 15 minutes for a soup I ordered. I wouldn't of minded the wait that much if our server was not counting her tips, eating and mindlessly talking with the other servers instead of checking on my soup. Once I finally got the soup, I found a hair in it and was immediately turned off. I wanted to tell the server, but she never returned to check on us. I wanted to leave at this point, but it was around 3pm and I had no breakfast or lunch so I was famished. After another 15-20 minutes our main entree finally came out. We ordered what is called the "Bandeja Paisa", Columbia's typical dish. Well, the order was not as we asked for it. First, we asked for green plantains instead of yellow, but they claimed they had run out of the green ones (I then saw another table get served green plantains), second, there was no avocado with the meal as its suppose to and the server stated that the avocado was not ripe, third, the beans were missing. I asked the server for a salad to replace the avocado and she went to get those two things. Five minutes later she comes out with the salad, but no beans still. I like my rice with the beans so I was becoming very upset now because my food was getting cold, I was starving and couldn't eat my food how I wanted it. So she goes gets the beans and puts in on the table and starts to walk away without asking if there was anything else we needed or if my husband who was already eating was liking his food. I had to call her and ask if there was any salad dressing since she didn't offer any. She never checked on us again. I was so furious I couldn't eat but a couple of bites. We asked for our check from another server. When she brought the check I noticed that the soup that I didn't eat because it had a hair in it had not been taken off the bill. I pointed that out to her. Folks, following is the reason why I said that has been the worse experience of MY LIFE!!!! As the owner approches our table, my husband and I expected an apology for our terrible experience and possible a discount. NOPE, not even close to what happened!! The owner instead tells us that once the food is served we have to pay for it!!! WTF?!!! I told him I've never heard of such a thing. I reminded him that I didn't eat the soup, but he didn't care. He kept insisting we had to pay the full bill. At that point I told him to call the cops because I was not going to pay for something I didn't eat and that I should not even pay for my meal either since I didn't like it. I'm sorry to say, but I was so furious I had to just leave. Folks, I am not even going to say that the food was the worse I ever had (a hair in the food could happen anywhere), the service and the owner's attitude however were!! Don't patron this place. Read moreI am very disappointed with the Restaurant management. My wife of 19 years was born and raised in Cali Colombia and the person who introduced me to Colombian food. We moved to Orlando June of last year right after I retired from the US Army. Around January or February of this year my wife found this Restaurant and although is not around the corner is pretty close to us and we have been going there ever since with no issues. About a month ago maybe more I ordered on a Sunday 2 chicken sancocho and 2 churrascos with fríes. When I went to pick the order I had to wait for the churrascos the waitress ask how cook and 3 times I told her well done. Got the order went home and when my son went to eat the churrascos they were very red on the inside. I call the restaurant and ask to speak with the manager and when I explained to him what happened since I was already home he told me that the next time I was there to ask for him. Today as usual I called in an order of Picada and when I got there I ask for him and first the waitress and waiter looked at me like if I was asking for a ghost, then had me there waiting nearly 15 minutes, he never came out, the waitress asked me to tell her exactly what happened and I did then she started to as for dates or receipts or bank statement to which I told her I already spoken with him over the phone and he told me to ask for him, at this point I got upset and asked her if he wasn't man enough to come and see me face to face but she continued to ask for proof. Read moreWent for my second time, first time ordering breakfast. First ordered 2 coffees and asked to please make them strong without sugar. The person taking my order was not quite polite and with a serious face went to me the coffee which was not how I had asked her to make them. I had to ask manager to please fix them for us. We proceeded to order breakfast (to go) and asked for the check. After waiting for almost 15 minutes for the food and no check, we got our food packed and check with it, paid and came home to find that one of the breakfast came with no meat. I called restaurant and overheard the person answering stating she checked the food and she noticed it had no meat but I guess it was packed and given to me either way. I spoke to Valentina (manager) who states I can go back and pick up the piece of meat. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and live about 20 mins from this restaurant (they know I am pregnant) when I told her I lived far and had to drive there she just said all she can do is give me the piece of meat with bread. As a person whose family has owned many restaurants, I would have either given the breakfast itself again or at least a bigger piece of steak. Not only the employee was not nice and attentive but they also were not understanding about the mistake they made themselves.
