I had the most horrifying experience at McDonald's that I simply cannot stay silent about. I can't believe I have to write this, but here it goes: McDonald's put my safety and the safety of my family at risk, and their response to the situation was absolutely appalling. when I pulled up to the drive-thru to pick up my food after paying for it. Little did I know that I was about to have one of the worst fast-food experiences of my life. As I was waiting in my car with my family, inside the restaurant. There was a fire! But did anyone from McDonald's inform the customers waiting in the drive-thru about the potentially life-threatening situation inside? No, they did not! My family and I was left sitting in the drive-thru, completely unaware of the danger just a few feet away. The fact that McDonald's staff did not immediately instruct us to move or evacuate is not just negligent; it's downright reckless. I was stunned by their complete disregard for our safety. To make matters worse, when I eventually was able to talk to the store manager and find out why they left us sitting in the drive-thru, the store manager had the audacity to be angry with me because I wasn't sympathetic enough about her store almost burning down. Excuse me? I was more concerned about my family’s safety and the safety of others than the potential damage to their precious establishment. In the aftermath of this terrifying incident, I tried to do the responsible thing and reach out to McDonald's corporate office not once, not twice, but three times to report the incident and express my concerns about the lack of communication and safety measures. I also left voicemails for LCL food services the owners of that store in the hopes that someone would take this matter seriously. But guess what? No one ever bothered to call me back. It's abundantly clear that McDonald's prioritizes the safety of its employees over the well-being of its customers. That is an unforgivable stance for a business that relies on our patronage. If they can leave us sitting in a drive-thru while their restaurant is on fire, what else are they capable of? I've lost all trust in McDonald's, and I urge others to think twice before ever setting foot in one of their establishments. The complete lack of concern for customer safety is a disgrace, and I can only imagine what other corners they may be cutting. If they're willing to put their customers in harm's way, who's to say they won't do the same with your food? I, for one, will never return to another McDonald's, and I encourage others to consider their own safety when deciding where to spend their hard-earned money. McDonald's, you've lost a...
Read moreI pulled into Lane 1 of the drive thru and there were no other vehicles at the menu boards, but was not acknowledged. Another car pulled into Lane 2 and immediately began ordering. After the other vehicle was done ordering, someone finally came on the speaker and said "Go ahead with your order." I paid and pulled up to the second window, where I was immediately told to pull up and wait for my burger. No "Hello" or anything. I pulled up and waited for more than 10 minutes, watching 6 vehicles behind me get their orders and leave. I saw the employee at the second window look out at me several times, so I assumed they were still working on my order. When there was still no sign of my burger after 14 minutes, I went inside. The workers never acknowledged me and I had to interrupt 2 of them talking to inquire about my order. No one ever said they were sorry, Christian just shouted at the people on the line to find my burger. The manager, Frank, then walked by and they shouted at each other about remaking my burger. After a few more minutes had passed and still no food, I asked for a refund. To this Christian shouted back to Frank, "Nevermind, she wants a refund." Frank took his time getting back up to the register and still never apologized. He then yelled at the cashier to make sure to not give out the wrong food and he was tired of giving people refunds all day. I told him that it had been the drive thru and not the cashier he was yelling at in front of everyone. He processed the refund and gave me the new receipt, but refused to give me back the original receipt because "I need it for the refund." The original receipt showed a time stamp of 4:55 PM and the refund was provided at 5:14 pm. I felt like a completely unimportant customer to the staff and left very...
Read moreMy friend and i have been coming to this McDonald’s for about a month now. we live about 15 minutes away from this location, despite living about 2 minutes away from one we prefer to make the drive to this location because every time we go, everyone is super kind and helpful and the food is always hot and tastes great! We always dine in when we go and order at the kiosk. Today, we had some questions about the collectible toys in the happy meal and associate Jamaria was so kind and patient she went above and beyond to go look for them herself, ask her manager and double check if they had any others avaliable. She took her time to help us despite it being a bit busy. After she was done helping us, we watched as she attended other customers, was so attentive, and had great customer service to every person who walked by with a smile. Her manager, (unfortunately did not get her name but when i see her again will update this with her name) also showed such incredible customer service when a customer came in angry and nearly screaming about her food not being as she wanted. The manager listened, apologized and was so respectful toward the angry customer and deescalated the situation so well that by the end of the ordeal the customer seemed happy and thankful and even chatted with her normally. The manager said, “I have to correct this, i can’t be losing any customers” apologized again and invited the lady to come see her next time. The overall morale of this place is amazing, full of hardworking and kind people! Also worth noting, they really care about kids getting their happy...
