I will not be returning to this Bruegger's Bagels location as customer service is lacking and quite disgusting. I visited Bruegger's Bagels here in Oconomowoc and was not greeted. The lady working behind the counter was chatting with a customer and I was fine with waiting and wasn't in a rush but I waited well over the amount of time I should be 7 plus mins, one person in front of me, because she was chatting and she never apologized. Her name is Linna. Her son who also works there, which I will not be naming, because he actually did his job correctly (he took and made my bagel order). After it was finally my turn to check out Linna, was very short with me and I was part of the Inner Circle so I had two free Bagels. I gave her my number 3 times so she could bring up my account. She quickly pressed order total and She didn't even take off one of the bagels per my account coupon until I mentioned something. Then she proceeded to Simply say in a snippy tone that I could only use one of the free vouchers . I said okay . Thinking... I understand if they have a policy but I wasn't aware of this. Then she did two separate transactions which is fine I really appreciated that but then as I stated thank you I appreciate you fixing that for me she walked away and didn't say anything to me. No goodbye, thank you for stopping in etc. No offer of a bag. Wow this is pathetic customer service and she really needs training. I feel like I was treated subhuman because maybe I look young? I don't know I am a married woman, and a local homeowner. I will be sure to share this awful experience with my friends and family. I would suggest stopping at good harvest bread company or other Oconomowoc local shops for better service and food! This place doesn't care for...
Read moreI do not recommend this place. I ordered from here a few months ago for a large business meeting (50 ppl) and there was confusion between the store and the delivery service. After several calls, my order arrived over an hour late. They told me they had corrected the address with the delivery service and delivery will not be an issue going forward. So, I, regretfully, decided to give them another try. My order was to have arrived over an hour ago... After calling the store to inquire about my order, they advised that they turned the delivery driver away because they asked for the order using my personal name rather than my company name! Not sure where common sense fell to the wayside and they neglected to look at the large order queue, but I'm at a loss. Both my name and company name were used to place the order. I just called again, the order still at the store. Zero apologies for this. I'm anticipating this order will arrive at minimum two hours late! And, the breakfast sandwiches will be inedible. Read moreWhen ordering a special sandwich that is on a huge sign that says "Smoked Brisket and Pastrami with Egg" and you go to check out and you for some reason have two sandwiches, I ask why there are two? Older manager/owner (not really sure) gives me attitude that I didnt say just one, I specifed one brisket and one pastrami. I reply no i ordered what is on that giant sign behind you. He then proceeds to take one baggel back with a sigh. I then hand him my credit card and then he say's wait i need you card back. Before giving him my card back i ask, Did you charge me for both? He replys yes. I reply just give me both Ill give it to someone. The thing that bothers me is he got upset about a baggel. He is the one that screwed the order up and got mad at me. I am in customer service and that is no reason to get upset about. He either needs to learn how to be nice to customers or find a job that doesnt require him to have contact with paying...
