First off, the food is excellent nearly all the time. Mistakes are made on occasion, but it's not to the extent that I am dissuaded from coming back for more. This place gets really busy during any mealtime. That should be no surprise to anyone. Reviews complaining that the line is long during lunch/dinner should be ignored because those complaints are absurd. They do a very good job considering how busy it gets. My main complaint is their online ordering process, or lack thereof. The online ordering is fine, but getting your food is the atrocious part of the process. There really is no process for retrieving your food from the interior of the location. When you walk in for an online order, you have to wait in line to tell someone you're here for an online order. Then, you're usually told your meal is not yet ready. So, in this situation, I ask how will I know when it is ready? Cashiers have no response because there is no process for this. I have stood there waiting for 10-20 minutes, all to find out my food was sitting there ready all along. Needless to say, that means the food was lukewarm or even cold. If they would either discontinue online ordering or create a simple pickup process, this would not be the huge problem it is. But again, the food is great. I gave up on online ordering. I now am strategic about when I go to Culver's. I avoid the rush of mealtimes and eat a little later than most people do. Short wait, great burgers, chicken, fries, and they do have very good/friendly workers.
UPDATE: the new crispy spicy chicken sandwich is not better than its predecessor. It's still good, but it's a step down from its predecessor. The only improvement made is that they made mayo a default topping/ingredient for the new sandwich. I also find it interesting that they did not change the tenders at all. I am assuming they went with a different supplier/product for the chicken breasts due to price increases, but they were able to continue selling the...
Read moreEvery single time I come there's a problem that's unheard of going to a Culver's
the lines are almost backed up to the streets. Not because the foods great because the service is bad.
the inside smells like garbage and sickness/sick people not fresh food.
The last time I came here My receipt said I paid $0.25 for my barbecue sauces,/ my food was thrown into the bag and not even inside their containers the customer service
Bad vibes from the employees here.
The cooks are the only people who are doing the job..the ingredients that make the food is good but the cashiers and front staff people that you have to deal with to get your food is disturbing.
i won't ever be at this culvers again in my life. the people that work here are going to make this culvers shut down very very soon because they won't be returning clients it's dirty in the inside. A old lady said she was looking for someone to clean the tables so they could eat.. This is the Mccdonalds of all culvers the food is the only thing that half decent.
I had barley 9 frys with my last order. And that was my final straw.
also don't appreciate the cashiers but male and femal trying to upsell and upcharge. When they can't even get the order right that was requested stop trying to sell me s* that I didn't order it's disrespectful and it looks scammy I've never been to a Culver's where every time I order something they're asking me do i that to buy want extra stuff no I don't.
Also I've taken a survey before from a different culvers location and their survery does not ask :
What's your ethnic background Gender Annual income
Why would this culvers franchise be asking these type of questions to it's customers violation of privacy. This location is a...
Read moreThis is the worst Culvers location I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of them this one WAS our favorite until it changed owners.
Once again a big disappointment tonight. Tonight at 9pm we were Told the custard was coming out watery so they just cleaned the machine early and shut it down. What a joke.
We live 10 min from the Oconomowoc location but go to Hartland 20 min away because the service, food and Custard is far better there not to mention the owner is visible and working there. And the owner actually cares about the customers there.
One time I was at the Ocon store and the kids working there were messing around fighting snapping each other with towels and swearing so loud in the back I could easily hear it at the counter. And the workers were just standing around Not waiting on customers. I asked them to wipe off our table and they threw me a wet towel.
There is something wrong with their custard machine and the manager knows it, as do other Culvers managers in the area. The custard is Gritty, the butter sticks to the roof of your mouth and the spoon. Sometimes if you get the custard right out of the machine as it comes out of the machine it is ok but most of the time its not correct.
I have complained to corporate and they do nothing about it they say they are aware of the problem. During the summer we go to the Kiltie for custard but that's not an option...
