Johnny Pizzas & Pastaria — Restaurant in Oconomowoc

Too err is human. We have been getting Pizza and food from here since we moved here 16+ years ago. Pizza is fantastic, fish fry is awesome, the Italian Beef I think is better than Portillo’s. That being said for the 2nd time in all those years a mistake was made last night, the first time was many years ago, last night they delivered my food and forgot a sandwich. I often say that it isn’t making a mistake that is important, it is how you take care of the mistake. I remember the first time being very happy with the solution they made although do not remember the particulars. Last night I was doubly impressed as they responded very quickly and actually sent one of the cooks (I believe as he had his cooking apron on), he apologized and told me that they applied a credit to my account to make up for it! That is great customer service and great handling of an honest mistake! Restaurants are going to make errors, especially when they are extremely busy all the time, but how they took care of recognizing and solving the issue was absolutely phenomenal! Thank you...

We have lived in Oconomowoc for just over 3 years and have ordered from Johnnys/Rosattis about once a month. It’s our go to for ordering pizzas because it’s always fresh, delicious and the hostesses that we pick up from are ALWAYS polite and helpful. I definitely leave a bigger tip because the experience has always been positive. I will also add that it’s a great price point and I consider them reasonably affordable. I was hosting a birthday dinner for my mother in law’s 97th birthday and she wanted spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered a few days prior for takeout. I had to order the meatballs separate from the pasta, but it was really worth it. We got 10 meatballs and I thought they were going to be small but I was shocked to see how big they were. Not too big but big enough. Again, everything was so delicious. Johnnys will definitely be my go to for future catering needs. I definitely recommend...

I placed an order over the phone and was informed there would be a 30-minute wait. I arrived at the restaurant 35 minutes later, and while my food was ready, my salad was not. I ended up waiting an additional 42 minutes for the salad. During this time, I inquired about my order twice, but received confused responses from the staff and cooks. I live 3 minutes away, both my meals and mozzarella sticks were cold, and the cheese was barely melted. I have posted this review before. The same night I was contacted by the owner on my personal cell phone at 9pm at night, asking me to take the review down if he refunded my order to the card. I obliged as he was willing to make things right. I waited weeks and was never refunded for my order or the Gracious gratuity I left when picking up my order. I'm not one to write a long winded review like this, but this whole situation rubbed me...
