The UPS Store — Local services in Oconomowoc

I absolutely cannot say enough positive things about this particular UPS station and the people who work there and most importantly, the manager/boss Sabri and his assistant, Alyssa, but not to forget the other workers there who were so interested in my project and so very supportive and helpful. It honestly was like a family there to encourage me. Even better. I was always greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome, even though they knew I was bringing them more complicated jobs with more problems. I was first introduced to UPS for printing from a friend of mine at Anytime Fitness just a few doors down from the Oconomowoc UPS last year when I wanted a poster on foam board done for a book signing I was going to for my first children's book. Even though I did not know about them until a day or two before I needed the poster, they got it done in time for me with no complaints or guilt trips. And a smile. This November, I needed some printing done for the Slovenian Cultural booth I am in charge of for the International Holiday Folk Fair. One major project was a 6' x 8' poster I needed based on the cover of a book. Sabri talked to me about it to find out exactly what I wanted. I even told him how we were exactly on the same page as far as expectations and what I wanted and what he thought I wanted. He was the best. He even called me in to confirm what type of finish I wanted with samples of my options and offering his expertise as far as what would work best for my situation. I got that huge poster in plenty of time for the Folk Fair and was just flabbergasted when they unrolled it. It was PERFECT!!! Then I needed one more smaller foam core poster in a shorter amount of time, which they were able to provide for me again in time for the Folk Fair. Of which we won the Best of the Fair award primarily due to Sabri and the UPS staff in Oconomowoc for the professional work they did for me. I cannot say enough about their integrity and skill. And the caring feelings they showed me as they knew this was a big deal to me. They very patiently and sincerely shared their enthusiasm for our award when I came in and shared the pictures of our booth with them and the wonderful job they did with the printing. And now I just had them do another foam poster for my second children's book which again was done perfectly and in a timely manner. They are just like family....

Yes, I do actually enjoy going to my UPS store in Oconomowoc! The staff is personable, efficient, knowledgeable, and actually fun! Although their jobs must be stressful, exasperating, and exhausting, especially at this holiday, season time of long lines and short tempers, they deal with every customer with kindness and patience above and beyond the call of duty. I watched last week as Ush, a manager, explained several times to a very angry woman that her return slip indicated she needed USPS—the post office—not UPS. The exchange went on for over four minutes and the line was long, but we were all fascinated by his perseverance. Despite the fact that she would not stop interrupting him, and her voice got increasingly louder and more shrill, Ush kept smiling and kept at it until she finally understood what he was saying and stomped out the door. “Next?” He called cheerfully. I felt like applauding. Kailie is soft spoken and quickly handles complicated shipping options, offers re-packing suggestions, and processes stacks and stacks of Amazon returns, never, flustered, always smiling. Jack makes a technologically challenged person like myself grateful that he is in place at UPS. When I am not sure how to access return codes, sometimes trying to print them unsuccessfully before I try to return purchases to Amazon, I know that now I can merely find my Amazon account on my phone, hand my phone to Jack, and he zips through 15 returns in under a minute, cracking jokes all the time so I don’t feel stupid about not knowing how to do this myself and grateful I’m not holding up a dozen people behind me. Thank you, Oconomowoc UPS store for your consistent efficiency And customer Service— And for staffing your site with wonderful workers like Ush, Kailie, and Jack. I think these three staff members in particular should be cloned, or at least given big raises. I am guessing they are not paid extra for going that extra mile. I need to go to my UPS store several times a month, and it never fails: Whenever I leave, and they’re saying, thank you, I’m saying thank...

Just get on the interstate and drive to the Delafield location if you want your things shipped. Trust me it’s worth it. These people are so mean.

They made me feel stupid for falsely thinking they might provide 2 feet of tape for a box my mother needed shipped. I was in someone else’s car with no wallet so I didn’t have cash or card to pay for a $2 roll of tape since the shipment was prepaid. They said ok bye then and I had to leave the store in shame, over a couple feet of packing tape. Maybe this is company policy but I don’t recall any other store refusing to close a box for me, so I highly doubt it.
