Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Odessa

Our server was very nice and did a great job. Although seemed not surprised and a little embarrassed about our not so great experience and the only reason I'm giving a 2 star. This review has no reflection on his service. We got the tri dipper for appetizer's it was edible not great. My husband got a ribeye unfortunately a lot of the sides were out. I got the steak fajita. It had a weird smell. But I made my fajita with the toppings took one bite, chewed a few times and immediately spit it out. I told my husband something smells and tastes off with the meat. I can be kind of finicky about food but never complain or send food back. I asked him if I was just being weird. He tastes it and it definitely was spoiled. I tell our server what's going on. I expressed that I don't ever send food back but something is off about the meat. He asked if I wanted something else. I declined I just wanted a refund. (I don't trust food after sending back food) The manager came out I told him the same. He said "we check everything first thing in the morning. " I told him "I don't know but the meat was bad. After 6 months of refusing to eat at this place because my last experience was absolutely terrible. Bad service, bad food and all that after a long wait. Even after speaking to a manger, nobody really seemed to care. Tonight I decided to give them one more try. I personally ordered online my choice was chicken crispers and that comes with a dipping sauce and I chose honey mustard. I decided to make this order to go with the idea of trying to have a better experience than last time. I get home and realize that there is no honey mustard. Call me petty but having to drive back across town for a dipping sauce is really annoying. I didnt care to eat dry chicken. Thats not even mentioning the fact that my fiancé's meal included asparagus that was a waste of money due to it being disgusting. Once I got there and explained that how much of an inconvenience it all was, the girl at the counter just simply handed me my sauce and told me to have a good night. Point being, dont bother with this place. They don't get orders right, the food tastes horrific, and the employee's do not care about any type of complaint. The hostess I don’t know her name because she refused to give my wife her name but she is short and looks like a little troll never really see her smile and is always rolling her eyes when you’re in the right. If you’ve eaten there I’m sure you know who I am referring to and if you haven’t and happen to go I’m sure you’ll figure it out. But here’s the thing every time we’ve been there there’s always a problem with her she tends to get your info so they can text you when there’s a wait, your on the waiting list. Yet little troll ends up sitting however she sees fit and completely ignoring the list she put you on. Then when you say something about it she starts getting loud and asking you to calm down when she’s the one getting loud and causing a scene. You have to ask her to speak to the manager just to shut her up. When she does finally get the manager and you explain the situation you’re finally setted. But this is a on going with this troll and if you take the time to speak to other workers you’ll see that they don’t like her because of her attitude. Why have a hostess who doesn’t smile or follows a waiting list she put you on a has a attitude when you point something out that she doesn’t agree with? What happened to the customer is...
