Wish we had found this hotel sooner! We usually stay @ Elegante when visiting our kid @ UTPB because that’s where the school put us up on our recruiting visit, but waited until the last minute to book this time & Garden Inn was giving an amazing rate so decided to try it out. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was incredibly friendly, from the older gentleman that checked us in super late on Friday night, the rest of the Reception & the breakfast crew. We took advantage of the office workroom to play board games and when we wanted to watch the basketball game and they couldn’t find the remote for the TV in there, they turned the game on in the bar and we moved out there. The kitchen was making Rice Crispy Treats and brought some out for us to enjoy. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with options I would not have expected for the price, like eggs with bacon, peppers, onions (which were delicious) as well as plain scrambled, sausage and bacon, multiple fruit options including berries, juices, oatmeal & pastries. Only rec would be brown sugar in the oatmeal station. Lots of space - there was a baby shower going on Saturday so you can rent rooms for events too. We make one more trip to UTPB & will be booking here. Great experience.

Room (339) was clean, but furniture dated. Housekeeping daily. AC was excellent. Bed was firm, pillows a bit too soft. Keurig coffee maker in the room with a few pods. Bathtub was old with rust on fixtures and peeling fiberglass on the sides. Renovation needed for sure. Decent gym. And quiet! No complimentary breakfast like most hotels these days. $14 for the breakfast spread! Did that one day. Not worth it at all. Breakfast tacos across the street at the gas station was better. Evening bar service is ok, but they do something peculiar here. They ask your room number even if you say you are paying as you go. Got a drink, paid for it cash, and upon checkout saw it was charged to my room. The front desk credited it back after I saw it and had my receipt. Overall, I can see myself staying here again, just stay away from food/drink in the lobby and maybe try for a "newer" room.

really enjoyed my stay! This was a last minute booking due to use being tired from our road trip and just needing a good rest. I booked through the app and immediately there was constant communication. The whole hotel was clean, my room was clean, and the gym was to die for. During my check in the hostesses was very nice a greeted us with a. If smile even though it was late and during checkout we requested a 30 min late departure due to me staying in the gym so long, there was no issues and as we departed the you g lady asked if there was anything she could help us with and that she hope we enjoyed our stay. 9 out 10 service.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! HORRIBLE!! My husband and I stayed one night there while on a cross country road trip. We booked and paid through Priceline. The lady working the desk that night put a hold on our card of $50 for incidentals (normal), but then CHARGED US AGAIN FOR THE ROOM AND DIDNT EVEN TELL US!! We had already paid $100 to Priceline, then got charged $85.26 by Hilton Odessa TX on top of the $50 hold. We realized we had been charged by Hilton the next morning when we received a text from our bank. The young woman working the front desk the next morning argued with my husband that Hilton hadn't charged an additional $86.25 to our card the night prior because we booked with Priceline. She insisted Priceline had double charged us. She didn’t know how to read the computer screen, and wasn’t able to see the charge until she actually called Priceline herself, who told her they did not charge us double. Only then did she acknowledge that the desk worker from the night before HAD actually charged our card twice. After finally getting her to acknowledge the over-charge, she said there was still nothing she could do about it. It was a Saturday morning and a manager wouldn’t be in until Monday to lift the additional $86.25 hold on our card. She refused to give us a receipt, a check-out print out, or anything, nor could she even lift the hold for incidentals, or refund the additional charge. She said she could only type us a letter on Word, not on company letter head (that stays locked in the managers office all weekend) On top of that - I called and got a very rude customer service rep from Hilton’s 800 line who couldn’t do anything either except email a manager - who wouldn’t be in until Monday, and we still would have to wait for 3-5 business days to see the money back on our account. She said she’d open a “file”. And we got the email, and another the following week saying the Hotel manager had contacted us AND refunded our money. NOPE! We never heard from the hotel and 14 days and 5 calls and emails later and guess what? WE STILL DONT HAVE A REFUND ON OUR CARD!! AND NO ONE FROM HILTON WILL CONTACT US!!! This is absolute fraud!!! At a minimum it is HORRIBLE mismanagement. Next step is contacting Priceline and BBB. Ridiculous. Also...there wasn’t really a breakfast bar setup (supposed to be) because they said the cooks never showed up. You hear the name Hilton Gardens and you think it will be respectable. This place is a disgrace. Update 5/8/18*After numerous emails between guest services, continually having to "prove" that the hotel double charged us, and them requesting our bank statement be submitted to Hilton in full, showing our card number, proving the double charge (screen shots of the online banking line items weren't accepted by Hilton guest services), and they can't look it up in the Hotel's computer...their reason, "what if the hold was lifted and you aren't showing us that line item" Really?? So the proof of burden is on me, when it is right there in your own hotel books???!! Finally I reached out to the Hilton corporate office in Virginia, and refused to peak with anyone in guest services any further, The helpful gentleman at corporate arranged for us to be issued a check refunding us the overcharge. It SHOULD NOT have taken this much time and effort on our part to make a Hilton hotel refund us when they admittedly double charged us. Very...

Whenever I come to Odessa for work stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the level of service exceeded all expectations. The lady at the front desk Csable was very personal and her greeting towards me made me feel very good.

Service: The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed.

Room: My room was spacious, immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens were high quality. Some of the rooms I have stayed in will need new shower curtains as many of them are torn and hanging from the rod. Also, several of the digital keypads do not work and I have to go get a key. I like just using my phone and wish the management will do a sweep to fix all the faulty digital keypads.

Facilities: The hotel's facilities are impressive. The fitness center is well-equipped with modern machines and free weights.

Location: The hotel's location is ideal as it is next to food and shopping.

Overall: My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was nothing short of perfect. The combination of exceptional service, and excellent facilities made for a good experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a premium stay in the city. I look forward to returning in the...

I give the hotel itself 5 stars but what all the hotels are doing as far as the price, they barely deserve one star!!!! When people are having to drive an hour plus away to another town to get a hotel, to work in Midland or Odessa, that is really sad and pathetic. Seriously, shame on you hotels!! I dropped off a passenger add an old Motel 6 last month and they were paying out of their pocket and it was $300.....a Motel 6 and a crapy one at that!!!!!!!!!

I just dropped off somebody vhere and it is a nice hotel. The only negative thing I can say applies to all hotels in Midland Odessa. Because of the oil boom they are literally gouging people!!!!!!!! Normally, this is - & SHOUL BE!!! Z a $100 room!!!!! ALL the hotels are charging between. .hold on, $300 to $600 per night for a bed WHICH SHOULD BE ILLEGAL! I know Morley and ethnically, they are extremely wrong for taking advantage of people! They Think that every hotel is being paid for by, for example, Chevron. If the company is paying for it, go ahead and charge a high rate. If a customer is paying out his pocket, they should charge the regular 100ish dollars. Not doing that is sickening! I've been out here for years and you do not pay that much money for garden in in Los Angeles! What does that say? Anyway, as far as Hilton's go this is a nice one and rather new....relatively...
