I was totally ignored when I walked in. There was a Caucasian man and an African-American woman in there. It appeared as though they were preparing sandwiches for a large order and they gave me the impression that I had interrupted them. I stood at the counter for a few moments before The very annoyed African American woman came over to the register and very rudely said what can I get for you? She was very unpleasant unfriendly and her entire demeanor spoke to not caring at all about customers or customer service! After giving her my order, I watched the Caucasian man Begin to prepare my sandwich and then slide it down as though she was supposed to finish it when he noticed that she didn't go to finish the sandwich. He grabbed the packet of meat and slammed it down on my bread with the cheese all while I was watching and as though he wanted me to know he was annoyed that he had to finish my sandwich and was interrupted with his large order the rude African-American girl handed me my bag didn't say thank you have a nice day or anything! I then went to make my drink stopped back by and ask the Caucasian man for the store manager name which he told me it was Matthew Poyte. Even after asking his name, he never once asked me if there was a problem or if anything was wrong or something that he could help address nothing it's as though they did not care at all how I felt. This is the second time in the past year that I've gone to this location only because I absolutely love Jimmy John's sandwiches, but I avoid going often because I hate the service there! As I looked at your reviews, I can see that I'm not too far off and what I'm saying because the previous review says the same thing. Matthew, if you care anything about this store, I'm not sure if you own it or if it's a franchise, your people don't care anything about the service they're delivering in your store and as for Jimmy John's as a manager myself, there's no way I would ever tolerate this type of behavior in my establishment. Read moreTotally ignored as we walked in the door… Let me explain it takes a lot for me to write one of these but I feel the owner should know how their store is being handled. Sunday afternoon my husband and I stopped in to grab 2 sandwiches and there were 2 male employees working on what looked like a large call ahead order. Both of them continued to work on the sandwiches and did NOT even look up as we stood there at the counter or even acknowledge we were there. They continued for about 5 minutes as we were trying to be passive and not say “Can someone help?” Even walking in front of them several times and they would not even make eye contact as in deliberately ignoring that we were there. They basically had an attitude of “we’ll get to you when we get to you” which is far from any reasonable customer service I was trained to do working in several restaurant industries. There wasn’t anyone else in the store. It was empty so hard not to miss the 2 only people who walked in. Finally one of the guys who didn’t have ear pods in came over and ask what we wanted to order, no apologies for being ignored or having to wait for at the least 5 minutes to even be noticed. We could have turned around and left but I wanted to see how long they’d ignore us. Having 2 employees one should have at least said “we’ll be with you in a minute” but nothing. Read moreTook one hour to deliver… supposedly the first driver’s truck broke down… was out for delivery for about 45 minutes, when handed the bag, could feel moisture on the bottom… the ranch containers had came apart… I live one mile from store… I am temporarily unable to walk, or I would have gone to firehouse … a sandwich for over twenty bucks… not worth this kind of inconsiderate “convenience “
Update… the sauce on the sandwich made the bread wet… total waste…one hour is too long for this sandwich to survive… threw it away
Update… been over 9 months since ordering from here…. Ordered a spicy Italian with a quartered pickle…. Got a different sandwich, with a whole pickle! I am officially done… spending almost 30$ for a f$&@@$ up order, and the only response being… tell me...
