First time try here and was disappointed. Although the menu looks good, as other as stated it is not really what you get. Everything is not included in the picture and if you want it you have to pay more.or it’s not available at all. i think they should just have pictures of exactly what they are serving you instead of taking pictures online and making it their own. The nuc mam for all the dishes was watered down. No carrots, no garlic, no peppers mostly just cloudy water. Nuc mam is extremely important and without a good one then the dish completely fails. I have never seen nuc mam in my life that is watery and cloudy like it was, barely any taste and more like water. I ordered banh xeo and it didn’t come with anything veggies except lettuce, no other veggies at all. The banh xeo was extremely hard and soaked in oil that I had to use all the napkins to dab it off plus the server had to bring more for me to continue to try to take off the excess oil. I regret eating it because I actually feel sick now but it was $13 and some change so I didn’t want to waste my money. I would rate the dish 1/10d My son enjoyed the fried chicken leg with rice but it was so dry that he threw it back up on the plate because he was choking. The only thing that was good is the calamari, but it was a very small portion for the price and mostly was just batter on the bottom and onions to make it look fuller. The wait time was a little longer...
Read moreI came here not knowing what to expect, and now I want to go back more often. I ordered a combination banh mi of pork, chicken, and beef and asked for a fried egg in it as well. At first glance, the bread looks toasty and fresh. As I go in for my first bite, I don't know what to expect. There seems to be so much going on within the sandwich that I'm uncertain how to go about it, but I just do. After the initial crisp of my teeth piercing through the outer layer and through the fluffy center of the bread, my taste buds are met with an overflow of flavors. Bliss. Not one meat over powered the other. The savory chicken and beef harmonized perfectly with the ever-so-subtle sweetness of the pork. The fried egg added an extra umami flavor and a different texture. The cucumber, carrots, and jalapeños helped cut through the rich oils in the food, which exponentially elevated the overall quality of the banh mi. The synergy of the ingredients provided an experience so decadent and appetizing that I went as far as to order myself another of the same sandwich. What a gem of a place. I highly recommend people come here for the banh mi. As for myself, I plan on coming here again and maybe trying something else...
Read moreMy friend took me and my husband here for dinner about 2 months ago, and I ordered the chicken pho. I was very skeptical about it because I have never liked any pho I've ever tried, but it was DELICIOUS. It came out faster than any meal I've ever had in a restaurant, qnd it was such a huge portion that I took home half of it and I couldn't wait to eat it again- so I had it for breakfast. And then ordered it to go for lunch. And had it again that week. Over the last two months, I have eaten there many more times, and taken others to eat there. I get it delivered or pick it up myself often too. I rave about it any time it crosses my mind and there's someone to listen. It is officially the best place to eat in Odessa for me. They also have good happy-food-dance music playing in there all the time, but not too loud, both of which I appreciate. It's bursting with flavor, but it isn't riddled with salt like most Asian places, so I can have it often with a salt-restricted diet. Sooo rare to find! And lastly, I tried their fruity drinks with popping Boba (optional, and there's other kinds) last time I was there, and I was HOOKED. All around- 10 out of 10...
