Nestled in the heart of the bustling metropolis of Newark, the illustrious establishment known as McDonald's offers a culinary experience that transcends the ordinary, bringing haute cuisine to the masses with an unexpected twist on classic Americana. Upon my recent visit, the ambiance immediately set the tone, with its chic minimalist decor and the enchanting aroma of sizzling delicacies wafting through the air.
The service was impeccable. Bubba, the maître d', welcomed me with the grace and poise befitting a Michelin-starred venue, guiding me through the menu with an expert's touch. Lakeisha, a sommelier of soft drinks, curated a superb pairing for my meal, suggesting a vintage Diet Coke that was both crisp and rejuvenating.
The pièce de résistance, however, was the exquisitely crafted Big Mac. Each layer was a study in perfection: the sesame seed bun, a golden crown atop a throne of expertly seasoned beef; the lettuce, crisp and verdant; the special sauce, a mysterious yet familiar embrace. This burger is not merely food; it is an exploration of taste and texture, a celebration of simplicity and depth.
In the world of gourmet dining, McDonald's is a paradox, both humble and grandiose, offering an accessible luxury that is both comforting and daringly innovative. This visit was a reminder that true culinary excellence is not confined to the gilded dining rooms of the elite but can be found in the warm, welcoming glow of this beloved...
Read moreI live locally and work 3rd shift, so I find myself looking for lunch and dinner during the late night a lot. There's invariably an issue with this location. They often accept cash only and won't accept orders placed through the app which means you can't take advantage of any deals, and sometimes start breakfast at 1a-2a even though you rely on them to serve dinner till 3a, because that's what they advertise. Lately, they only serve one customer at a time, from start to finish. That means someone places their order, pulls up to the window and pays (cash only), waits for their food, which is still somehow not fresh, and then several minutes later after the customer pulls away, only THEN will they start taking the next person's order. It's common to see a line halfway around the building, or wait 30+ minutes before you can even order when there's only 3 or 4 cars ahead of you. It's an exasperating experience most days, and they'll just tell you to go cry to a manager about it, which means management probably encourages it. It's only this way in the dead of night, but it's most nights and no other McDonald's I've ever been to has these...
Read moreI went to McDonald’s on 21st street Newark on 01/12/22. I placed a simple curbside pickup for 6 sandwiches and a large fry. After waiting about 15 minutes at curbside for my order, an employee brought me a bag with 4 sandwiches (all 4 Non fresh and Luke warm) and a large fry that was also Luke warm! I pull through the drive through thinking I’m going to get my order fixed and when I explain to the lady in the drive through what happened, her first response was ( oh okay so do you want a refund!!! I was so annoyed at the fact that she didn’t even offer to fix or replace the order!!! She just said do you want a refund. Customer service at these places are getting so bad, but they are hiring kids And people who just do not care how they speak to people or treat them. I understand that this is just McDonald’s but customer service is important at all places dealing with the public… Now 1st shift at this specific store are incredible 🤗 Night shift definitely needs training on how to...
