Iām going to be honest. I drove about an hour to try this Pho Shop. The young man that served me was very nice to my mother and I. My bill was about 50$ for two large bowls of Pho Dac Biet and two ice coffee. The ice coffee was Troung Nguyen instant coffee. It tasted ok I was expected the traditional drip style coffee over expresso. I ordered two extra large bowls but I was surprised when it arrived to my table it was just normal size. It wasnāt like an extra large bowl like many other pho restaurants. I also ordered extra meat. I asked the waiter this is extra meat he said yes it was hardly any meat. Even after spending 50$ + it was very full filling to be honest. The soup had a unique aroma and it did smell good. The noodles was cooked a little too long. I donāt regret my visit and the young man was nice. Only had one server in the front. It was nothing compared to Superior Pho in Cleveland. If you asked me to drive 60 miles again to come here I probally wouldnāt. I have then a honest 4 stars for effort. I get excited hoping to find good Vietnamese Pho shops. This is just like something I felt we compare to cooking at home. It possible would be better at home. Another thing that disappoint me was the garnish all their was a little bit of bean sprout some cilantro and one jalepeno and two lemon. There was no basil. It just didnāt look very appealing. I appreciate their hospitality and effort but I donāt think I would go the distance...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have visited every pho place within 50 miles of my area, tonight I took my son to Pho Lv. I would have to say they have the richest tastiest broth I have tried yet. it was clear, deliciously golden brown, with just the right amount of glistening fat floating on the top. they are also very generous with the noodles. i LOVED the flavor of their meat, it didn't taste like it was zapped in a microwave and thrown into the bowl carelessly. it tasted fresh and packed full of flavor. i would have to say my only complaint was there wasnt any thai basil or fresh chilis to throw into my big ole bowl of pho.honestly after tasting the broth it probably didn't need it however those are my two favorite additives to my ideal bowl of pho. the server was very friendly and helpful. you could tell they take pride in their food....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service is actually pretty terrible. I came with my fiance and they only gave us one set of utensils, spoiler alert we each got a meal. Currently there is the Covid-19 pandemic, but none of the workers were wearing masks. We had to ask several times for refills on water before we got a refill. When we ordered pho, we had to ask several times for the veggies that come with the soup. The other customers meanwhile received the veggies before they actually got their soup. The soup was very bland and I'm honestly not sure why or how this place has 4.9 stars. If you truly want good Asian cuisine go to Mizu or Izumi. If you desire other places then check out Cleveland. There, I suggest you check out Map of Thailand and other such places as Miega and Rising Grill (good Korean food) .
Pho LV was abysmal and...
