This Central Ave store had been adding prices to their drinks for "added" flavours" on coffee drinks on the marquee that the drinks are such. Went there on 7/24 approx. 1:24 pm. Order mocho and caramel ice caps. These are on the marquee. Showed them $4.15 without Whip cream, with an $8.30 total.all of a sudden the total on the marquee blanked and A Big $9.00 showed up. We were told to pull forward for total "please"! At the window they asked for $9. I asked why the marquee screen changed like it did, an the wided eyed server stated "it was$.35 for adding the syrups. Was that okay?" I shook my head no"! She said "just a minute..." Then another server came and abruptly said "that's the charge for the syrups"! I voiced that are on the board as caramel and mocha and then you charge extra! Then after paying their $9, they handed me a 3/4 filled caramel iced, with a full Mocho ice. I showed the person who handed me these, comparing them side to side. This person had on a different uniform, she huffed and gave her lip a snarl taking back the caramel. When she came back with it she had FILLED IT TO OVER FLOWING. it was a sarcastic way of treating me, the customer, for questioning. We ARE NO LONGER RIGHT AT THUS TIM HORTONS. I've had a manager thrust her huge breast out the window at me when I questioned the change in the ice Capp price a month ago. She stated it hag always been that way, when it had not. She pushed her employees back leaned into the window and pushed her massive breast out the window like that was suppose to intimidate me. All that did was humor me. Now I will not frequent this Tim Horton's ever again. Hope their...
Read moreI was short on time so I placed a mobile order as seen in the attached picture. The other picture shows what I actually got. Only 1 of the 4 items I received were actually what I ordered. The main drive-thru person was very understanding and tried to help with alternate donuts because they only had 1 of the crullers. That was understandable. But when I received the sandwich, I was extremely disappointed. I told her it was the wrong sandwich. It was supposed to be the everything croissant. It was not. I heard a voice around the corner say it was what was ordered. I showed my phone screen showing that it was not. This other worker kept arguing that it was correct. When she finally came around the corner, I told her that it must be a problem with their system then. She begrudgingly said I’d have to wait four minutes for more eggs. Normally I would wait, but I had to be somewhere and didn’t have time. So this person sarcastically said “Have a nice day.” While I may have raised my voice as she kept arguing with me, I never once swore at her. Having worked customer service, I know that the goal is to de-escalate situations like this. But she was determined to be right (even though she clearly was not) and it showed in her poor customer service. It’s sad that some of these places don’t even care about getting orders...
Read moreIf I could give this Tim Hortons at 6815 Central Ave more than 5 stars, I would! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine smiles and an energy that makes you feel like part of the family. The entire team is incredible, but I have to give special recognition to Nel, the manager. She goes above and beyond every single day—whether it’s keeping the store spotless, making sure orders are perfect, or just lifting everyone’s mood with her leadership. You can tell she truly cares about both her staff and the customers.
Joeline and Preston are rockstars too—always friendly, always professional, and they remember regulars like it’s second nature. They don’t just serve coffee; they serve kindness, efficiency, and a little bit of joy with every order. The teamwork here is unmatched, and it shows in the speed, accuracy, and positive atmosphere every time I stop in.
This location sets the standard for what Tim Hortons should be. Coffee is always fresh, food is on point, and customer service is OUTSTANDING. Huge thank you to Nel, Joeline, Preston, and the whole crew—you all make 6815 Central Ave the...
