Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

At around 4:50 pm in 12/20/2023 I went in decided to get a simple 2 junior cheeseburgers plain, with a large Oreo mix, but as I ordered my cashier asked me if I wanted it "as" a combo. I said Yes, just like any broke 16 year old that just realized how expensive college, and is trying to save money would. What I did not realize was that my cashier meant if I wanted a combo for both of my Jr cheeseburgers instead of just 1 of them. I quickly informed the cashier of this mistake in communication right after I was handed my food. After which I was given my change back, but leaving me with a dilemma of what to do with the food. After a second of pondering I asked the same cashier with another worker as witness if I could still take the food even though I would basically be getting it for free. I was then given the go ahead even though I admit I should have ordered again, but at this point I wasn't about to spin the roulette table of fast food again. I deeply apologize about this inconvenience that I might have cost. I take full responsibility for my actions since I did have a stuffy nose so please don't put put the blame on the poor cashier that was just doing her job. I would like a manager to see this review and comment back if I need to go back in the near future and bay back for the food that I took. I would like to end this review with acknowledgment that the left register has a faulty receipt printer, a cash drawer that doesn't open "required and employee to open it with a key", and the holder with small cups for the drive through falling when an employee tried to grab a small cup in order to fulfill an order. Had a flat and pulled into their parking lot so went in for some ice cream. My daughter and I were both helped by this nice lady working the front, apparently by herself, took our orders. A family of five or six walked in and then a couple more people so a line was forming pretty quick all while the manager did nothing, just stood in front of the grill staring at another employee doing her job while she was doing nothing, just standing there staring and she would look around and then go back to staring. She didn't bother to go help the people lining up at the front the young lady working drive thru took care of her orders at the window and afterwards immediately hopped on the counter to take the orders of the people waiting in line while the manager who was clearly standing there doing nothing staring at another employee doing her job and just standing there in the middle of the kitchen staring didn't even bother to help. The food was good, not to over salted meat on burger. Shake was just as good as the first time I got it. But the service definitely fell short. The person taking my order rang me up for my burger my fries. Instead of the combo, but when I asked for it to be fixed to the same thing I order every time I go. He refused to ring it up again the proper way. Instead he charged me for a small shake. On top of what I had already paid. So for a 1/3 pound cheese burger small fries and a small shake. Was a Total of $12.09. I usually pay like $8.53. So from now on if I want braum's, I see if that manager is working because it rite by my house. But if he is, I drive up to 39th.
