Well a friend had been telling me about this place and suggested I give it a try. I was in the area and could not resist. The staff was very friendly. After some thought I decided to try the burrito enchilado (smothered burrito). I saw the picture and had to have it. My friend was right this is a great place. My meal did not disappoint I really enjoyed the burrito and the side of rice was delicious. The sauces they bring out with the food has a variety in spiciness and helped clear my sinuses but I enjoyed every bite. This place requires a return trip to try the rest of the menu.

I come here about once or twice a week. This is one of my favorite restaurants on the south side of the city, their food is delicious and the prices are more than reasonable. You will have to be patient with the workers because most of them dont speak the best english but they're very nice people and they make a mean taco. I suggest you give this place a try if youre feeling in the mood for mexican food.

Amazing Service, Amazing Food, Kid/Baby Approved! Coming from California, it's hard to find Mexican food we are used to in Los Angeles. Well, this place is it! Delicious! My husband (Chef-the unfamous version on Gordan Ramsey) who complains about every place he goes, enjoyed it a lot!! We will be back.

Thought I'd try a new place today. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. I have to say, I was impressed with the prices and the vast menu choices. Got the lunch special which was the enchilada dinner for $5. (Very reasonable) it was a dine-in experience and they served me chips and a brown salsa. The salsa was tasty but a bit warm for my taste. And the chips or mixed with stale and new chips. That was disappointing. The food came out hot. But I have to say that the rice was very bland and the enchiladas mediocre. The beans had a very good taste to them. I'm not sure if I will go back again, but I might give it another try with something different on the menu. Hopefully the company reads this review and takes notes on how to improve as I only want to see this...

Edit: Aug. 2022 We’ve been enjoying delicious meals from Chili Verde for the past three years. When it opened in this location we were afraid the quality would change after some time. It hasn’t! We’re still enjoying their amazing Tacos Mexicana aka street tacos. The staff is still friendly and the food quality is still top notch. Kudos, Chile Verde! :-)

This location has just recently opened. We were anxious to try it out. We ordered carry-out steak and chicken tacos mexicano aka street tacos. They were delicious! We went back the next day with my daughter and dined in. Not disappointed. :-) My boyfriend and my daughter love taco truck tacos but I've never been impressed. We all agree that these are the best street tacos we've ever had. I'm thinking we'll be frequenting Chile...
