At first glance and visit you think its just an Irish themed southside dive bar. You will walk around and see pictures of the old days. You will notice they have a ton of drink specials everyday. The bathrooms are clean. They have a couple arcade games a couple pool tables. You may notice some giant cartoony checks. Its then that you will realize that this tiny little bar has donated over $200,000 dollars to our children's hospital in the last three years. You'll come back and you will see familiar faces and realize they come in practically everyday. And your bartender from yesterday is now having a beer with you. You'd think they are all family. Then one day you might have a bad day. That's when you realize that they are family, that from the day you walked in you were initiated into their cult. It's just a hole in the wall. But its filled with some of the best people this world has offer. Beer is beer but Mcfinns is your best friend since your five's living room disguised as a dive bar. I could go on and on. I’ve gone to this bar on and off for years and have never been treated as ugly and rude as we were by the chunky blonde bartender last night. A big group of us came in for my brother in laws birthday. She was rude all night long to us, sighing huffing, and puffing and rolling her eyes each time we would ask her for a drink but not before waiting for a long amount of time for her even to acknowledge us. I don’t understand what the problem was. None of us were rude. None of us were being obnoxious. If I could leave zero stars I would. I Walked in at 1:30 am to get a single beer before heading home and the lady bar tending was beyond rude. She said that she had been closing for twenty minutes already and wasn't going to serve anybody else. This was my first time here thanks to a friend referring me but I will never return. That was unacceptable in my opinion. There's plenty of other bars around with friendly staff who stop serving at last call and not an hour before. I honestly can't even believe how rude she was.
