Hibachi Supreme Buffet — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

My family loves to eat here, but for two visits we've had rude servers. We ate lunch there today and I had to refill our own waters, our server asked our children their ages while we were away from the table and my soft spoken 8 year old told her 8, server said 9 and walked away. While paying I let the cashier know what happened, she had to ask the server. I told her I was her mother and knew how old she was, what was the server going to verify? Lots of back and forth about how old MY child was, when the man at the front came over and said no problem and made the change immediately. Our server then lingered around our table waiting for us to leave so she could get her tip. Having been in the food industry for more than 15 years I left her a dime, which is 9 more cents than she deserved. She immediately began speaking very rudely before my children and I left the table completely. Very disappointing because we have many large gatherings here.

::to your response:: when we were seated my two girls went to wash hands. When giving drink orders I said two children Sprites. My teenage son was never questioned on age when giving his drink order. It wasn't until she was ready to drop the check that she questioned my children once we were away from the table on their ages again never asking my son how old he was. As I came to the table I saw my daughter's face and asked HER what was wrong and SHE told me what happened. Had our waitress ever returned to our table to address longer then dropping the check I would have. Like I said before I had to refill our own waters and luckily my two children never needed refills on their sprites because she was inattentive to us. I suggest you check your cameras because obviously there was some confusion. Still doesn't dismiss the fact that she was rude and displayed that type of behavior in front of my children. Where is the zero star option? I normally don’t write review but the experience I had was so bad and I want people to know if they choose to come here. Came in at 9pm on Friday night (aware they close at 10). Walked up to sushi bar, most of items were empty, I asked the 2 Hispanic men, who were leaning on the bar playing on their phones. I asked “are you guys making any more salmon rolls?”, without looking up and with their faces stuffed on the phone, replied “No”. Just pure disrespect. I walked to the cashier and asked for management. This Chinese (i know because I’m Chinese) guy walked out, claimed himself to be manager James. I explained the situation, telling him “I’m aware they close at 10 but it’s only 9:15 and they’re not making anymore food” and he looked at the clock and walked with me to the sushi bar, he scanned through the sushi plates that now only have 3-4 pieces of random rolls. He then said “it’s closed you can eat the other stuffs” and walked away. At this point I lost my appetite with the way they treated me. I feel humiliated and disrespected. I mean we pay money to be served with the food we want to eat, we didn’t beg for a free meal. Im sure a review from me won’t change anything, and this ignorant James and his 2 employees will continue to treat their customers poorly. So this is an update on this Restaurant....I gave it 5 Stars 4 years ago. They were clean and the Food was delicious at that time. Went there tonight and I was appalled. The Food tasted old...the Floors and Carpet was disgusting. There was Food smashed in the Carpet. The Food was all over the place on the Buffet...and one of the Workers threw a piece of Broccoli back in the Food with his bare hands, that someone dropped on the Buffet. Then top it off, we were still sitting down at the table and the Workers came from the back and started throwing Water all over the floors while we were still eating. It was at least 10-12 Workers pouring Buckets of water on the Floor And started Mopping while we were still there. My children and I almost slipped on the Floors...it was huge puddles of water. I thought that was very disgusting and unprofessional...like they couldn't even wait until guests left I couldn't use the Restroom because they did the same thing to floors in the restroom. I had to roll my pants up so that they wouldn't get wet from all of the water on the floor. Hubby and Son got sick after eating the Food. The whole Restaurant is Nasty!! 🤢🤮 I wouldn't advise anyone to eat here unless you like to eat in Filth. And out of $53 the supervisor only gave us $3 off. Never again will I eat here!
