Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Cowboy Chicken, a high-quality casual dining restaurant renowned for its hormone-free, all-natural wood-fire rotisserie chicken. Here's a detailed review of my experience. The moment I stepped into Cowboy Chicken, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The rustic decor, reminiscent of a cozy countryside ranch, set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The customer service was exceptional; the staff was attentive, courteous, and eager to ensure a pleasant dining experience. I opted for the 3-piece dark chicken meal, accompanied by sweet potato and Spanish rice. The food was served piping hot, which immediately hinted at its freshness. The chicken was the star of the show, with the wood-fire rotisserie cooking method imparting a unique, smoky flavor that penetrated right to the bone. Each bite was juicy and flavorful, truly living up to their "Flavor to the Bone" promise. The sweet potatoes were perfectly cooked, with a natural sweetness enhanced by a hint of cinnamon, making for a delightful side dish. The Spanish rice was equally impressive, offering a vibrant mix of spices and vegetables that complemented the chicken well. To accompany my meal, I tried both the Strawberry Lemonade and Watermelon Tea, both of which are perfect sips of summer. The Strawberry Lemonade was refreshing with a perfect balance of tart and sweet flavors, while the Watermelon Tea provided a unique, subtly sweet twist that was both hydrating and delicious. While I enjoyed my specific choices, Cowboy Chicken's menu boasts a variety of other tempting items, including their signature sour cream tomatillo. Each dish is crafted with the same dedication to quality and flavor, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate! Cowboy Chicken excels in providing a delightful dining experience with its high-quality, all-natural offerings and exceptional customer service. Whether you're a fan of hearty rotisserie chicken or simply looking for a flavorful, casual dining option, Cowboy Chicken is definitely worth a visit. I left thoroughly satisfied and eager to return to explore more of their...
Read moreHello, Heftypapi food review at Cowboy Chicken on Penn OKC. Been to cowboy chicken before itâs never really satisfying. First the girl I was with asked to try the lemonade and she was given a little bbq sauce cup to try it lmao. Well okay lol. Got a brisket plate and it was very small servings for $15.00 plus tax. I wouldnât go here again and I donât think anyone should support these kind of servings. I ordered a sweet potato and as given half a serving (they must be too expensive for cowboy chicken and if they are just close your store) Iâm not sure if itâs the teenagers ruining this place with servings or cowboy chicken just isnât gonna make the cut moving forward as 2025 approaches. It just doesnât seem logical to eat here. Over $15 for a little potato, little meat, and beansâŠ.. thatâs not logical thatâs $5 for each of those. Thatâs not a fair customer price. Especially for half servings. If it was full servings it would be what everyone is expecting from cowboy chicken.
3/10
Price bad Serving size bad Customer service bad
Close down and go back to being a normal ungreedy person maybe youâll realize it sucks over paying for stuff. Reevaluate your business.
If I ate at cowboy chicken 3x a week that would be $45 for 3 servings of small beef, one and a half sweet potato and less than a can of beans all for over $45âŠâŠâŠ. Do you see how yall suck? Yall suck logically. It does not make sense to my mind to want to eat here.
Just pass it Rudyâs is close with VERY big servings. Lots of stuff by this location and the location in Edmond to get your money worth.
Everyoneâs gotta stop thinking like a TikTok influencer trying to be cool yall have to be logical, itâs time to expect more and voice opinions. You will save money and be further in life.
Donât support yourself being greedy, donât support anyone else being greedy. Leave a...
Read moreUnderwhelmed.... we moved here to OKC a year ago and a few months back I saw this location and kept it in the back of my mind, the wife let me choose tonight so I chose this.
I was hoping this was a sit down and order restaurant but when I opened the door too find it wasn't I had some reserve but I said I'll give it a shot.... so we walk up to the counter and the first thing I see is that she has a dirty shirt and food stuck to it, not a great first impression but we move forward and my wife lets them know we have never been here before and so she suggests the quarter chicken.
So my wife and I order the quarter chicken and she chose the loaded mashed potatoes and okra and I chose the quarter chicken, fries and green beans, we told the young lady that we wanted the paper cups and she pressed to get us to buy the souvenir cup and so we said ok.
Utensils were plastic ware, ok we set down and I notice the trash can was close to overflowing and they bring the food my wife was not impressed with the mashed potatoes but thought the chicken was decent and hers was hot, mine it was lukewarm at best and dry, the fries were the best part of the meal, I didn't touch the green beans, the roll was just a roll nothing special and it wasn't even in the same category of lukewarm
All in al it was okay at best, I was under-whelmed and the fact that at 6 pm on a Friday night that they weren't busy should have told me a lot, like I have said before it was okay but I severely doubt I...
